Really, why are you all so obsessed with playerhousing?

Why not both, why not develop some content for everyone regardless of what it is, be it raids, mythic+, open world/solo, player housing.

Agreed 100%. But this thread is about player housing.

WoW toxicity order is about like this:

M+>LFR>LFD>cross realm> local server trolls

All group content. Player housing is just another solo/share with friends activity. The only drama would be those on the forums complaining about the time spent on player housing.

Nice try on deep faking because I didn’t say raiding.

Is it this bridge in Arizona? Or one of the other dozen that exist?

Just because you can’t see value in player housing doesn’t mean that others don’t. Fun fact, different people find fun and value in different things.

Tell that to ESO and FF14
two mmo’s with massively popular housing systems that make the company bank every time they put a new chair model or whatever in the shop

The housing systems also make their related profession masters tons of gold/gil too its a fantastic thing to add because all blizz has to do once the system is in is model new 3D assets and toss them into random nooks and crannys in the world for people to find.

Popular? don’t make me laugh. Because FF14 housing sure have loads of toxic drama.

But sure pretend that FF14 housing is all fine and dandy and nothing went wrong and is super perfect and everyone loves it and has no issue whatsoever.

The feeling is mutual, King. Keep your head up.

M+ is popular and it has drama, not sure the drama part is relevant as a argument.

In fairness, the drama around housing is in acquiring the house in the first place. Because FF14 is dead set on having “wards” instead of instance based housing, there simply aren’t enough houses for the playerbase despite it being lauded as a major feature of the game. Before the new lottery system you’d have to spam click placards and fight against bots to try and win a house. Now the lottery system eliminated that, but now more people can put a bid on a house so your chances are actually less than before lol. Once you own a house, the system is pretty great, other than buggy placement of structures in the house itself.

you’re awfully negative of a system that doesnt exist yet. maybe it will be great.

the sims: wow edition

That “maybe” won’t happened because not everyone will agree on the idea one person can say this and the other would say another. There is no one size fits all.

Also, housing would waste development time on other things that could benefit more in terms of open world content and/ or alternative path of gearing and soloable dungeons with Artificial intelligence (NPC) to help you out.

I actually LOVE my garrison, tyvm.
I park my toons on it all the time, have them all evolved too on diferent toons, even AH.
The only problem
no teleport right to SW, need to go to Ashran for that.

This would be the issue. Easy solve is just remove dev time from raids, we could use a solid copy paste expansion for raiding. Good times

Teach us anything? FF14 and ESO have great player housing. Just because Blizzard is lazy doesn’t mean that the concept is bad.
