Really need some new classes

Must be a miscommunication somewhere, I do not think it helps new or old players in anyway, just makes people buy the game, so blizzard makes new classes. I never said I had/need data, just that it would help, I was also agreeing with you so I do not understand what you are pointing out countering.

This is why data would help, but there does seem to be a relationship in xpac sales and classes, wolk, pandaria, legion, and now df. So I think there is obviously some relationship. Regardless, if blizzard thinks it will make money, it will be done even at the expense of players or the health of the game. You do not need data for that lol.

Not a popular opinion probably, but I don’t think WoW needs any more classes

Find me a hero Evoker.
Find me a hero Priest.
Find me a hero Rogue.
Find me a hero Warlock.

Find me an argument for your statement that makes any kind of sense.

And all of it in mid range :dracthyr_tea:

What are you talking about? there are priests, rogues, warlocks (and demons) and dragons in WC3.
Clearly… you haven’t played it. There are literally units with those exact names.

Yes, Evoker as a concept was half-made up… but that’s exactly why that’s lame. Let’s not make the same mistake twice. And, at least Evokers DO have extensive connection to the lore through all the Dragons in WoW. Where is the singing all over WoW to justify this Bard class?

The problem is that they’d make a class almost no one wants, and then other things more people actually want end up in the back burner. Just like no one cares about Earth Dwarves, but people have been requesting Naga, Ogres, Vrykul or other races for a while.

Now, do either of YOU have an argument?

My dude, you said hero. Not random units.

Ok… find me a random unit of a bard… how is that better?

And yes, there are Priest and Rogue heroes anyway. Literally one called Priestess of the Moon.

We need to delete specs you mean.

It’s all make believe anyway so why does it even matter? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Why does there need to be an example of them at all?

What’s wrong with adding a traditional fantasy RPG class to the game? What’s it harming for you? With the buffing evokers around, we could use another class for that utility.

For WoW I think that would fit best as a Rogue Support spec rather than a full class. Personally I’d rather have 4th specs over a new class at this point, though it would probably be a lot more work than a new class.

This is totally what we should do. Like mechagnomes, except instead of robots it’s a lost island full of highborne/classical Greek dramatists.

And then much like Mechagon, after we leave we’ll all agree to pretend like it never happened. :dracthyr_crylaugh:

Wasn’t that the Aug?

Tinker class please. It would be the first mail wearing class in the game that is actually worth playing.

Have seen this suggestion before and love it. DAOC Bard was so fun. Same with Rift.

A music class would be awesome.

they call dracthyr a “hero class” despite there being no dracthyr hero units in wc3

Blizzard seem to have trouble balancing the ones we got at the moment, I think taking a break from introducing new classes for awhile would be good. lol

Here… maybe you’ll read it the second time you see it. And, again, do you have an argument?

Bard doesn’t fit this game at all, however, based upon Doron’s videos, it seems that necromancers, and void hunters are being introduced.
