And not some off the rails classes but some traditional stuff like a bard.
No, we don’t need a bard. This is not D&D. There are no magic bards in Warcraft.
There is a bunch of Tinkers, Artificers, and other sciency classes, however, maybe we can have that.
EDIT: Quoting myself because some people think they are clever…
Uhh…what? WoW was based off of tabletop D and D.
As an aside, I don’t think we need any more classes. We already have 9 or so classes, and each class has multiple specs, which are basically their own seperate classes in how everything plays. So we already have like 30+ classes in the game.
P.S. FFXIV has a bard and they have a harp literally built into their bow lol. I used to main one in the Heavensward expansion. https://imgur.com/gallery/qUmPWw1
It is absolutely a spin off of D&D.
Warriors, Paladin, warlock, priest etc…
This guy is clueless lmao
Yes, and it spined it real far.
It’s not the same thing.
WoW was a spin off of WC3.
Find me a hero bard in WC3. ONE.
Not everything in wow is a carbon copy of wc3.
Doesn’t matter though, wows base is from d&d. They didn’t create the universe out of thin air.
No we don’t need a Bard nor do we need anymore classes for Blizzard to just forget exists for most of an expansion.
What we do need though is Vulpera Customisation.
No it wasn’t the game your thinking of is Warhammer by Games Workshop who have no connection to DnD which is made by Wizards of the Coast.
When Microsoft really wants to inject some cash flow in the future, Bard and Tinker are aces up the sleeve.
People will absolutely preorder whatever it is to get those.
There are already too many specs in this game. We do not need any more.
Back and forth in this thread about if Bard fits or not.
But this is the correct perspective.
WoW doesn’t need any more classes, regardless if they’re fitting or not.
shows Warhammer to folks
Really ?
Other than bard, I’m also not sure what you mean by traditional, what others classes?
I would be very OK with a Bard.
Then again, I’d be OK with most of the classes that people request, be it Necromancer or Tinker or what ever.
More classes, more fun.
Get me that alchemist class that leta me throw concoctions
But wow doesn’t?
I doubt we will run across an island of bards somewhere like the dracthyr. Without any precedence, their addition would just be weird.
We have been playing the same classes mostly for 20 years. Yes they have changed here and there but the same basics really.
It gets old after 20 years
I feel we have too many classes. Every time they add a new class it becomes “Meta” and screws the rest of us.
Lol, I’d pass simply because they can’t even balance the classes and specs already in the game so to add even more would just make it worse.
