Really need some new classes

So? Babylon 5 is based off Lord of the Rings. What’s your point?

They just added Evoker this expansion and look at the mess Augvokers made. I’d like for them to deal with that first before they add anymore classes tbh.

Ding dong you’re wrong.

Ouch.,…

Mic drop

The Bard class would need to be introduced similar to the Evoker, Monk and Demon Hunter. It would need to first be introduced with a new race where through the lore we would get an explanation as to why that class hasn’t been seen up to this point. Perhaps the Old Gods or Titans feared music and so forbid the emerging races from wielding it. This new class we discover could then teach their knowledge to the other races.

Classes that lean more into the sciences and technology (Tinkers and Artificers) seem like an easy inclusion as that just means that technology has improved. I mean we already have spaceships and machines so technological weapons isn’t that far of a stretch

Bards are support classes. We got it with Aug - just a different name

Get owned.

I’d go for some sort of apothecary/alchemist class.

Something that uses potions and elixirs for various purposes. Throwing vials of toxins at enemies. Drinking a potion to transform into a beast (Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde style). Being able to drop potions near/on allies to heal them.

I think it could be really fun. A mad scientist type of character like Professor Putricide.

9 or so? You’re not sure?

FFXIV has an archer that has 3 skills that resemble music notes and the ability to play music outside of combat.

They also have a psudo-Bard fantasy that they want to implement but have no idea how.

Don’t use 14’s Bard as any kind of standard here. It’s definitely far from being an actual Bard class.

Meh, whatever yall convince them that wow needs they implement half assed and poorly.

Blizzard already spends the entirety of each season and still fail at creating a balance between specs, we don’t need to add anymore

There’s no need for new classes. The only thing I’d want to see anymore is new specs.

I mean, sure, there’s maybe a class or two I could think of that I’d like to eventually see in the game but realistically I’d rather see some new specs added to a number of classes before we introduce a whole new class. For one we could use a couple more support specs so aug feels less necessary in high end content

Bards could be a weak dps in dungeons but provides tremendous buffs. Some bard buffs are long lasting enough to be applied before entering a dungeon but others, more potent ones have a short duration cast before boss fights.

However, make sure to NOT a bard class that are expected to do nothing but playing music DURING battles. Such bard designs mean that you gain their buff but loose a dps spot. It is rarely worth the trade-off in other games. For extra fun let bard buffs augment other buffs. Imagine a bard buff that increase everyone’s healing received for instance to get the idea.

I hope WoW never introduces gimmicks like Bards and Ogres

We ignore so many specs already, I would combine classes and specs if anything.

There are too many as it is.

This could definitely be a way to do this. Like adding more secondary spec trees. Some of these secondary specs could nullify core abilities for the class for extra tweaking. Example, hunter that spec “ranger” loses their pets but gain a more even range and melee capability. Warriors that spec “archer” start to compete with hunters for range weapons, lose the ability to wear plate. warriors’ archery would be less “magic” in nature then hunters’ archery.
