Reality check for complaints about phase 2 timing

Hate to break it to you but classic wow itself went nearly 5 months before the new raid was released. Phase 2 only had honor system and world bosses. Still nearly 3 months from release. They said the same things then as they’re saying now.

“Games dying”, “can’t go 6 months with only Onyxia and MC”, "players are quitting ".

What happened in reality? Phase 3 launched and the game had its peak attendance game-wide for raids. BWL was one of the most played phases of the game.

TBCC doesn’t have a Phase 2 to introduce a terrible honor system. World bosses are out. The Phase coming in a few weeks is actually AHEAD of schedule compared to classic wow. With two raids coming up that will be plenty of content. The game isn’t dying and blizzard hasn’t given up. You’re all just spoiled. Everything wanting to be handed to you on a silver plate.

Just because you raid log doesn’t entitle you to demand they put out the next Phase of content at your convenience. You ever heard of MMO’s? Try doing MMO things. Just like classic.

The timeline for Phase 2 in tbc is very good actually considering it’s 5 phases not 6.

In the mean time how about you go grind some gold so you can afford to re spec and do some pvp or dungeons instead of sitting afk in shattrath complaining on the forums about dual spec?

Whether TBC has a ‘terrible honor system’ to implement or not, that was a large impactful patch which gave players something new to do (even if it was toxic and didnt last long).

I’m not even arguing that development is off schedule, I just find it strange that your essentially saying “If we ignore a whole classic patch, we’re actually ahead”.

Have gold.
Have bank full of consumes.
Have exalted all BGs.
Have 80 Badges.
Have every BIS item outside of raids.

Won’t play an alt.
Won’t sit in queues.

Watching friends quit.
Watching guild raid log.

The difference is classic launched with MC, Ony, and UBRS as raids, as it was in vanilla.

Actual BC launched with T4, T5 and hyjal. I know hyjal wasn’t accessible until BT launched because nobody could kill KT, so we’ll leave that out. BC classic launched with 3/13 “availiable” 25m bosses, or less than 25%. I’d like to remind you T5 was launch content. At this point of actual BC SSC was already cleared, it’s not even announced yet on BC:C.

This would be like if they held off MC for phase 2 of classic and gave us just Ony and UBRS for 5 months.

We are literally asking for launch content, not SWP

Nah I’ll go play FF14 in between watching anime, I love cat ears on humanoids, in fact that’s who I sat with at lunch in highschool.

This is the one true take. Most of these posts go on a rant about all the things people SHOULD do to have fun, which is usually a pathetic attempt at making mundane activities sound exciting.

If you’re bored right now, you should take a break before P2, and hopefully Lizzard drops the patch in the next few weeks.

I know it was technically a raid, but UBRS is really just a big dungeon tuned for 10-man. In fact, it’s part of LBRS. No lockout. Easily puggable, took about 30 min. Did not drop epic loot.

I think MC/Ony is very comparable content to Kara/Gruul’s/Mag.

A man goes to a buffet. There are so many meal options. But he insists on only eating one thing. He gets there when it opens, and stays till they close. Other people come and go throughout the day, eating from various offerings. They take their food, sit down with friends, have an enjoyable meal, and leave within an hour or two.

All the while, that one guy who stays from open to close, only eating one of their selections keeps complaining that there isn’t enough of it, and how terrible the buffet is. Yet he is still there every day, eating the same dish, and complaining when it runs out. He doesn’t seem to be enjoying it, and claims that the business is a failure because they don’t keep giving him more of the one dish he insists on. Yet new people keep coming on going, having a great time each time they visit.

Don’t be that guy. If you hate it that much, and aren’t getting what you want, then find a place that does offer you what you want. Those who keep coming back, enjoying all there is to offer will not even realize you are gone.

Get a job and go outside instead of incessantly whining on the forums about “dead game”

Actually, with the surprise announcement of New World’s open beta…we might get P2 the first week of September now.

Working right now, just took my dog out.

It’s not hard to be where I’m at. Just don’t be a casual.

How about they release P2 so all raid content isn’t done in an evening.

Leveling 1-60 followed by MC/Ony and a pvp phase warranted a decent amount of time between raids.

Leveling 60-70 followed by a 10 man dungeon and 2 raid bosses became very boring well over a month ago at this point.

They need to stop trying to time their patches around other games or their retail patches and give us a better experience. P1 should have been short, P2 has 2 full raids and chase items from the kara/mag/gruul so it can be a much longer phase.

I’m not saying there is nothing to do right now, I’m just saying it is incredibly boring for the majority of players which is why the game is so dead compared to a month ago.

People aren’t playing TBC classic for the Vanilla classic experience. People in TBC were already progging in SSC by this time. And yes TBC is more focus on raiding, not on the “vanilla experience”.

I have tons of gold already, my tbc main is a paladin farming stratholme.
Yes I do intent to keep playing a bit longer because I also have an alt, but it doesn’t mean that releasing content right now would be worse.

Moreover a lot of people won’t come back when nearly half of my TBC guild is gonna switch to FF14 or new world.

I’m sorry if releasing the content as it was in TBC is too hard for them, but as a customer there’s other choices on the market. Trying to defend a company like Blizzard is just rich at this point that I have to consider this mainly trolling.

Ok so your argument is that people should leave, that’s gonna make a great game!

Before leaving people have the right to ask for changes and forums are made for people to do that. You’re not the one to decide who leaves or not and who can give feedback or not.

Bro… You need an intervention. Go get a real life.
