Reality check: Alliance is doing great in normal BG's

I’ve played about 50 BG’s since faction changing to alliance and I’ve been winning alot more than losing. Id say at least 70% win rate.

Ill admit that epics and korrak revenge are still depressing as alliance but regular BG’s are better conquest per hour.

From what I’ve seen, as long as you give your team direction, alliance tend to be the most organized faction. I’ve had way more success in the last week than my entire expansion on horde side. Alliance I feel, needs someone to speak up and lead in order to win.

I’m staying alliance. Faster queue times and better games.

Eh… I’ve seen plenty of “leader” types have Alliance PUGs turn on them or spit in their face. Better to keep quiet in Alliance bgs to be honest, they don’t like being told what to do (even if it’s a winning strat). They especially don’t like their (losing) strats being questioned :joy:

Best to let “someone else” take the heat that comes from trying to lead, Alliance players can be quite nasty when a plan doesn’t work out.

I’v played on both sides and lose equally well on both sides but i think i’m cursed in that regard so if you see me on ya team it’s gonna be a lose cause some voodoo magic is following me around.

It’s 50-50 on random BG’s … no question about it. Anyone who says alliance lose all the time obviously have not played enough to have the win rates even out .

Wow. You actually FC’ed.

Only took you a year to do it again.

You know you only have a 72 hour window to request a refund, right?

Well, you might be lucky. But the last time I saw a site with any kind of stats, the Horde were pushing towards 60% win rate in every BG. I would imagine that has gotten worse since then.

The faction imbalance problem is real and will only get worse for both PVE and PVP unless Blizzard decides to address it.

This http://web.archive.org/web/20180818123547/http://wow-stats.com/bgwr01.html is the last on record that was recorded.

Clearly Epic BG’s are not close to what’s shown, but regular BG’s are probably accurate. Besides EoTS, it’s always bugged.

Most of the bgs for my main have a 40-60% win percentage.

The only ones that stand out with a low win percentage are Deepwind Gorge at 18% and Ashran (haven’t won an Ashran in months and the win percentage doesn’t seem to show up on my character stats.)

PvP isn’t for you if you don’t communicate, alliance often deliberately ignore anyone trying to lead because of their tunnel vision (most likely for a tank instead of the opposing healers but that’s a different debate).

I often go into alliance bgs saying something like “welp we lose” and then everyone wants to be the person to prove that guy wrong, I’d say 3/5 times it ends very well.

I have an undead priest at 403 ilvl and this human paladin at 443. I win more with the undead priest.

The difference is that Horde usually wins even game and Alliance throws games that they should win. I feel like people’s IQ drops when they queue Alliance. I see people ignoring objective, letting healers and mages free cast and just have a negative attitude overall. It really saddens me.

Daytime alliance is not the same as night time alliance. Night time alliance I think actually has the edge. It would be great to see some statistics on win rates based on time of day. It’s gotten so noticable, I don’t even bother to log on to my alliance characters before 9 at night.

If you only play during the day, you are in for a rough ride.

Nice troll post, we all know you xfer every 3rd day and then decide to spew horde bias on the state of the alliance when in reality it’s not so. That puts you on the same level as trash as Jugga.

Credit, where credit is due, I have been noticing alliance is winning more lately, however not 75% as the OP claims. But that could be chalked up to the Christmas period, people returning to 8.3, FOTM players re rolling alliance in preparation for mecha-gnomes or disillusioned alliance players returning from classic. If that trend continues for say the next 2 months, then I would be more inclined to believe it.

Alliance has been winning randos at a good rate for a long time

How many times have you switched factions now? Surely it’s a high number.
