New Star Wars movie is the worst one ever.
worse than the cgi levitating sliced fruit scene?
I’d actually say yes. It ruin my favorite franchise for me.
I’ve seen all the star wars but honestly never was a huge fan. All the films since disney bought out the rights have been trash other than I thought Han Solo’s was pretty good.
Han Solo was a fun watch. Rogue One is probably the best if not one of the best Star Wars movies, but that’s probably because it has nothing to do with the new storyline.
Rogue One was phenomenal.
Yea I don’t like how they implement Spock in these new generation flicks, maybe i’m just old school tho
Thought it was okay. Not my favorite, but it was pretty good. Rogue one was a good story driven movie which definitely felt like it played it’s part. Solo was amazing, though. Solo is probably my favorite star wars movie outside of episode 3. Absolutely loved that movie.
I’d say Rise of Skywalker is about a 6/10. Maybe a 7 if i’m pushing it but that is really pushing it.
You are giving it a 6/10? That is being generous, it was a 3/10 at best.
Critics gave it a 52% on rotten tomatoes so id guess the actual audience score to be like a 22%
Comparing it to The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi? Yeah i’d give it a 6. I was so dissapointed when I went to see those movies. I despised both of those movies and would give those 3’s. I’d probably rank The Last Jedi a 0/10. I almost walked out of the theatre when Kylo Ren destroyed the area where Leia was at, then she was in outer space and she not only lives with absolutely no supportive gear/etc, she also uses the force to casually glide herself back to safety. The only “thing” saving her was what Rian Johnson says “was instinct”
Only other time I can remember that even coming “close” to happening was in Revenge of the Sith at the beginning where Anakin, Obi-wan, and the emperor are holding onto their lives after Greivous destroys the glass at the command deck. Yet none of them were out in space other than grievous.
Rise of Skywalker felt like a Star Wars movie, however the only things I didn’t like about it was all the disney cliches that happen in the movie. (Obviously being owned by disney I didn’t expect much). But in terms of the fights, and everything else I thought the movie was pretty decent.
I gave rogue one a 9 because of how amazing the story was, how well it fit, and obviously the vader entrance at the end was amazing.
And Solo and Revenge of the Sith are just amazing movies overall. 10/10
I guess there was a point in Rise of Skywalker I almost gave it a 10/10, all Rey had to do was sit down
I would’ve enjoyed that as well. I was wanting her to sit down so bad. I would’ve liked the movie more if she did. I thought she was a bad@$$ this movie solely because she started to let her anger take her over which gave me flash backs to Anakin.
I forget which movie it was, but after that scene where the princess gets sucked out into the vacuum of space and then “force floats,” back into the spacecraft I stopped caring.
I miss when the force was just used to push/pull things and create lightning. All the new force mechanics in the movies are silly, and too much of a divergence from the original triology and the prequels, which I love.
Was The Last Jedi. Almost walked out of theatres. I stayed obviously for the sole reason I hoped it was just a prank. I liked other parts of the movie, and I do like Kylo Rens Conflicting thoughts on he doesn’t feel he has the strength to ever do what he needs to do, but that specific part ruined everything for me. But the new movie is pretty decent. Not amazing, but decent.
Another thing I wished they did, at the very end of the movie when Rey is on Tatooine, I wish they showed all the jedi (Major ones we saw), Qui-gon Jinn, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Yoda, maybe Master Windu?
I wish she used her real name and instead of a Jedi ghost it was someone else
Lmao that would be crazy.
I’d probably lose my mind actually. That is the ending we wanted, but didn’t know.
The Mandalorian is where it’s at.
