I honestly don’t know how Blizz managed to copy a Legacy bank system and forget to do the bottomless reagent tab. It’s mind boggling to me.
Some of us find it necessary to have 2250 pieces of frostweave cloth… But old mats really should go in personal guild banks, not the high value warbank tabs. The rarity of the craft need makes it less of a problem to mail or warbank items between toons.

Boy do I wish they would remove crafting material ranks from the game. I hate them. Everything else about the new profession system I can get behind, but 3 ranks for every crafting material is ludicrous.

Yes they did. Not at TWW launch but shortly after and I can’t wait. I much prefer tabs to bags.

I didn’t come at you like some sort of fist fight, it was a simple comment on your statement to afford 4 tabs in the warbank. You took it way crass and decided to stamp me with the “troll” label.
When I only explained my “perspective” of your comment seeming arrogant, you continued to mark it the same.

It wasn’t a “trollish comment”, because you believe it to be so you’re fighting thick and thin to ascertain this about me when I’m the one who felt you didn’t need to disregard someone’s statement about the pricing of the warbank tabs because you yourself could afford 4 of them just fine.
Before you make this any worse and snowball it into a bigger issue, this is where my responses for you end.
That doesn’t prevent them from taking up bag space when I loot them or return my time for me converting them to rank 3.

Yes, I hate this too. I hated it in FFXIV. While I’m fine with tiers of crafts, that should go by your crafting skill and not the reagants. Tiers of reagants are just flat out a waste of space. FFXIV used to have reagant tiers. They removed them in Shadowbringers. 2019. Blizzard copied a LOT of the new profession system from FFXIV. But somehow missed that FFXIV had seen that yes, reagant tiers are pointless and do nothing but waste space, so they removed them.
Keep in mind FFXIV only had TWO tiers, and it was still too much. Normal and HQ (high quality). They still have normal and HQ crafts, but it’s determined by your crafting skill/gear and not by the reagants themselves.

You’re free to disagree that the second and third tabs are too expensive. Just as I’m free to disagree that they aren’t.
That doesn’t mean anyone is arrogant, right or wrong. Because it’s an opinion based off of our perspectives.

Because hoarder…hoarder is the answer. I know this because I am a hoarder and have filled 3 of my Warbank tabs with mats. It would have been more but I cannot buy the other tabs.

the game rains gold.
you can choose to spend it how you want.
there’s no point choosing to spend it on something else, then griping you don’t have gold.
…and it’s not as if we haven’t had plenty of warning in regards to the cost of tabs.

I sold off all pre-BFA materials (because I’m still working on BFA crafting skills on a lot of alts). So I only have BFA, SL, and DF reagants in any of my banks. Even then it’s still too much. I can only imagine how bad it’d be if I was still hanging onto my stuff from classic-Legion.
I still have all of my old mats in a personal guild bank. And they’ll stay there until we get a bottomless reagent tab. So… probably forever.

Whatever thought you or anyone else has on it, I’m not opposed. Frankly I’m tired of the label I’m given.
I make a silly joke thread and get called “full of myself” , I feel abrased by someone’s projection and I’m told I’m starting drama, I agree with someone’s opinion and they argue with me anyway and call me a troll.
People keep calling me out for starting drama, say I do it all the time and I’ve got no idea what they’re talking about. It must be true if multiple people keep saying it, can’t deny that.
What have I got to do but just not care anymore.

It is pretty bad right now but I will make a lot of the transmog items I don’t have from professions. Even with that I have I still need to farm more mats.
What I ended up doing is putting the mats that more than one profession can use in the warbank and left the single profession items on the character that can use them. DF mats were not added because there is just not enough room. I like the ability to craft from the warbank. If I could from the guild bank I would use that.

Ogod… even ESO did this, too and Blizz still didn’t?! Between the bottomless reagent tab in SWTOR and now ESO… I feel even more frustrated by this lack of obviously needed storage space.
Can’t be denied it’s a curse lol. I honestly love having things in abundancy in video games, especially if they serve a purpose. The problem is it’s even if those purposes are sort of redundant.
You should see my beautiful bag filled nothing but Frostweave Cloth.
