Re launch, same failures?

So it’s fun doing quest where you need “8” fish filet from eels that have god awful drop rates while 75000 other people are killing the same eels.

Maybe learn from past mistakes and triple the spawn rate or number of mobs for these ridiculous quests?

Look, there are certainly QoL changes I’d argue for. Layering + dynamic spawns are already in the game, though, so maybe try doing another quest in the meantime?

Hey, folks wanted an Authentic TBC experience. Well here you go. Besides, did you ever think that the reason a drop rate is low is because Blizzard plans for this and wants you to grind a bit on some quests? It is part of the time sink/gating mechanisms MMOs have been using for over a decade.

It’s not needed. 8/8 could drop and I would still hit 70 and miss an entire zone of quests

I’m sorry but no. I’ve already done quests with things respawning before I finished killing them because of dynamic respawns. The respawn rates of things are fine.

Then skip that quest? I went out of my way in Classic to avoid droprate quests because of the abysmal droprates + competition, and will do the exact same for TBC.
