I have finished the story line in the Maw. But, I can’t jump down the hole on the second floor in Oribos, it kicks me out. I am a warlock of Orgrimmar, is there something i can do, i do not want to change my character or join a covenant. I want to go back to the maw for collecting mounts
Can i finish the campaigns in Shadowlands and then get in, seems i read that once but can’t find the same passage to confirm.

I know you have to join a covenant, as the story does lead you back to the maw.

joining a covenant won’t do anything irreversible to your character.
you’ll need to do it to advance the campaign… and it will give you access to more mounts.

You have to follow the story. If it’s your first toon in Shadowlands you will have to complete all of the zone questlines and pick a covenant. Your covenant will send you into the Maw to retrieve something or someone. Until you start that quest, you cannot jump in. When you do get that quest and jump in, you’ll be acquainted with Ve’nari who will guide you through the rest.
As long as you’ve done this once, alts will get a skip you can use at 60 to instantly pick a covenant (Threads of Fate - yes it’s still there, you just can’t use it for levelling anymore). Then once you get to your sanctum there is another skip you can use to jump right to the Maw quest.
Also, once you pick a covenant, there is an NPC right by the flight master that sells an item that instantly makes you reknown 60 with your covenant. Plus another item that gives you all the conduits.
