It has been a decade and a half since Cata was retail, and I’m sure you’ve heard this complaint before…but don’t you think it’s about time that when we complete a random dungeon, that the item we get from the satchel be useful to us?
If I complete a RDF with a shadow priest, my reward shouldn’t be an agility neck piece I can’t use.
Not to be rude, but now that you’ve had a day to think about your post, do you still feel confident about it making sense?
There are a lot of people who don’t even quest anymore, me included, who ONLY level using RDF. The queues would be 100% unaffected by the loot from the satchels. I would still queue RDF if there were no satchels, or if every gear slot on me was filled with heirlooms, because it’s just the better way to level. The only thing that would change is player satisfaction. And maybe fewer fights over loot, when some idiot rolls on something that they can’t or shouldn’t be using.
It doesn’t even need to be “smart loot” but you should only receive items your class can use. There’s no reason to give Hunters cloth and Warriors leather.
One class appropriate item and a few gold per dungeon would be great. I’d be fine with int plate on a Ret Paladin even, at least I can use it to heal.
agreed, i’d be fine with this…as long as it’s useable in some way by the class, great…what i don’t want to see is agility or strength rings/necks dropping for intellect only characters.
Ok funny thing is that i level up my weapon skills back in vanilla because i would get bored and pull out a weapon to tri to kill low level since i was alwas on a pvp server
Then go level a Protection Warrior in cloth/sprit gear if that’s true. Leveling really isn’t that fast now that JJ is inactive. RDF ques are way too long.
