The great thing about RDF is you’re not forced to use it! you get to continue making groups the way you like and I enjoy groups the way I like! everyone wins!!!
I mean I’m not sure why you’d be against it when they’ve already done things that are far more harmful to the game such as Horde vs Horde battlegrounds, a change that killed Alliance on at least one server. Why be against the classic experience in a game called Wrath of the Lich King Classic?

Didnt really impact me… not much of a pvper so I didnt take a stand.
Sure. Im not against it or anything. Just saying i really like what they implemented and its worked well for me, especially considering im on a fresh realm.

Cool! so here’s the difference between something like this and something like that
HvH BG Hurt the game and killed factions on some servers. Actually degraded the experience for lots of people yet you’re fine with that.
RDF you don’t want for some reason although it really has no negatives and is part of the wotlk experience. It’d also go a long way to dealing with server queue issues that are impacting thousands of players
Never said I supported HvH… I said I didnt take a stand as I don’t engage in this type of content.
If you don’t take a stand against something because it doesn’t impact you negatively the same way it does others then you’re basically supporting it

Well i guess I’m against it then… I don’t support all of Blizzard’s decision. There are a lot that I dont actually. This specific one I just felt not really connected to in any way based on my gameplay experience…

Players that pvp can que for pvp from anywhere, why can’t pve players use the same feature but with dungeons. When people que for battlegrounds from anywhere, they can just stay in town, not quest, and just do battlegrounds. Random Dungeon Finder is the SAME idea. SO you guys getting butt hurt about a pve feature destroying social, when you have a pvp feature that does the same thing.
You can use the LFG tool from anywhere in the world…
I think most players would be willing to compromise and remove the teleport aspect of RDF that way the #welovechanges crowd would settle down a bit. Just keep in the automatic group formation and cross server aspect of it

Well that compromise includes no xserver which is probably the MAIN reason we need RDF. Servers that are not mega servers or 99% one faction take to long to find a group if they even manage to form it. If they add RDF it needs 100% to be cross-server.

I don’t think RDF is the right solution to server population issues… but thats my opinion.
IMO its the only solution to the population issue that isnt utopic
