This is the ONE argument pro-RDF that I can support. Although I don’t believe it to be 100% true (I’ve played non-meta classes all through TBC and never really struggled to find groups) i did explore if a possible compromise could be done to solve this one issue related to inclusivity of all classes and spec. By the way, almost every single change they’ve made to Wrath is in direct opposition to why they supposedly removed RDF.

Yes they will lol. If I had RDF I would spam all the time on my tanks and healers. Especially the low level ones to level up.
IDK about you guys but if I’m by myself on a DPS class, it often takes me 30 minutes or longer to find a group NOW… without RDF.

A overwhelming majority of players want RDF.
You cannot gaslight people into thinking the Anti RDF crowd is large. The Ambivalent group of people that don’t care about RDF are larger than the RDF crowd. 
So in 2008? I don’t think people even knew it was in development back then so I can’t imagine how it was “splintering the community”. Then when it was released everyone loved it.

This is a video game. Not some movie. There is no anxiety involved with spamming the LFG channel for people. There just aren’t the right people looking at the chat at the right time. It takes a long time no matter what.

Hey dude. I love the lfg tool we have. It works great. I was cautious about it, but it turned out significantly better imo. Longest its taken me to make a group is 10 minutes, and I get to craft my group and look for familiar names rather than just having it done automatically.
Also consider like… 1%? Of players use the forums, and its only those who care so much about issues they post on here. So you’re only seeing the extreme peoples opinions. Thats why everything seems one sided.

Without a tank or healer you don’t really have a party yet and most people play damage.
A very small percentage of players use these forums, and of those the majority are those who are very opinionated on the game. Ofcourse its going to seem like that when you’re looking at forums.
I have no idea how the community feels at large. But on my server, people seem to like the current tool. I personally do.
and you can still do that if RDF was in the game!
RDF has been so successful it was in WOTLK and has been in the game since. Your logic is as flawed as Blizzard’s

Plenty of people form groups as dps with dps friends or solo.
You can always join a guild, friend people you group with or join a community discord.
The answers are there. You just all fail to do them.
Some of us want the classic wotlk experience, that means having RDF in the game. Sorry it hurts your feelings that some of us want that true classic experience
We will know who the majority is once they sort out all the polls about the RDF.
