RDF? Really..?

Remember in classic when you constantly trash talked RDF and Wotlk? If people take the time to go through your post history they will find that you are by far the biggest troll on this board.

The people obsessing over RDF right now are not classic players. They are retail tourists.

Every time I see this obsession over RDF I think back to this Carbot vid and remember when it released how many people rallied alongside it as it showcases where Blizz went wrong and ruined the game, now you have the alt hoppers trying to do it to classic all over again.

The boosters and GDKPers enjoy it. It allows them to more easily gatekeep.

I love when people make threads saying players don’t want RDF. And it gets 13 likes and the second reply that says we do want RDF gets 100+ likes.

Oh yeah, the playerbase is real divided!!

Everyone knows that the WoW forum are a very good and reliable sample representative of the entire WoW player base…

GM of my guild and we only have one that is not pro RDF, but he doesn’t care if it comes. Also in a Sunwell raid with another guilkd and during a break RDF came up. Out of the 25 there were 2 opposed, 2-3 that didn’t care and the rest wanted so everyone has a different viewpoint. I based thinking a majority want RDF as in every RDF topic on this forum you will see a far greater number saying in the Topic they want if vs the usual 5 that dont. Also the reddit post are the same way as well as the content creator surverys I watched.

Yup. Very reliable data. Blizz will without a doubt see it and implement RDF based on this scientific and robust sample of people requesting it.

:man_facepalming:

“The idea of it entering”. What does that even mean.

This is like saying in vanilla classic “the idea of Ragnaros being in molten core was splintering the community”

Both are/were in their respective expansions/games on the patches blizzard has stated we are playing on.

It was never an idea if RDF would be in the game when it was announced what patch we would be playing on.

I not once said it was realiable. If you go see my commenst I said it was my OPINION, yet all you anti-rdf I have seen have constantly said anti-RDF is the majority. I am just wondering how yall can come to the same conclusion when the data looks different to me. Also I don’t care if RDF comes or not, doesn’t affect me. I just want it for others to have choices.

I honestly fail to see this “community interaction” everyone is talking about. I play solo 90% of the time and it’s not by choice. I try speaking to others and try engaging with my group during dungeons and everyone I encounter is just dull and in a hurry to leave the group.

Come to Ateish, you are welcome to join our guild and play with people that are chill.

I don’t believe we are the majority, I don’t believe we are the minority, I don’t know, and I don’t care, because this is not how Blizzard make decision. Blizzard make decision based on potential for increased revenue. Will RDF get a good ROI if implemented? If they have not yet implemented it, it’s most likely becasue they don’t see the potential for ROI. If they ever implement it, it will be becasue the timing was right to get some revenues out of it.

I can see that point. I am uder the impression it wasn’t implemented due to the boost. I know I wouldn’t have bought a boost if RDF would have came. I think once we get going RDF will come pre-Ulduar. If not then so be it.

Is it over populated with queues?

Even the LFG channel in game is full of more people demanding RDF than people actually making groups. Hell there are more people just using LFG channel as a global chat than actually making groups. Because the tool is basically trash for making groups.

It’s a menu that you use to message people and then move yourself to the dungeon. It’s not the same as clicking 1 button and being teleported there.

No, its a menu filled with over 50% of people with joke listings so they can use the chat as a global chat and the other 50% are toxic gatekeepers.

Number’s don’t lie, WoW was at it’s peak when RDF existed but LFR didn’t.
It’s clear what needs and doesn’t need to come back.

Well the OP has 13 likes. And this guy?

Has 110 likes. Now of course the Forums do not represent the majority of players. But 13 vs 110 is a pretty huge margin.
