Why dont you have a guild group to run dungeons with in an mmo?
Play diablo if you want a quick fix of dopamine without having to be of value to any one.
I don’t like to burden others. Sorry but it is a personality trait I cannot break. I give meetings to 500+ people on a weekly basis but I don’t want to form groups in a game.
try making friends and then you will have fun running dungeons instead of being a burden?
I have friends but they don’t play the right specs for us to form groups.
In that same argument, we have summoning stones (which now have no specific level range - anyone can use them) and Warlock summons (Which now allow you to be summoned into raids/dungeons)
On the contrary, RDF would allow for the opportunity to quest MORE in the open world because players wouldn’t be glued to watching LFG Chat, AND they wouldn’t be afraid of straying too far from Stormwind (if they were wanting to run Stocks, for example)

Like 90% of groups formed with people on your server? This argument is weak and holds no ground.

To help you out on this, typically what you do is make friends by trading help. “hey i need this dungeon if you help me run this dungeon ill help you with the dungeon you need”. If you are just logging in, begging for a group to do the thing you need, and never helping any one else, then feel free to play diablo like I suggested.
Then what you do is level alts and play specs you need to help your guild, and then from there others do the same for you. Welcome to mmos.
You’re suggesting that we say, “Hey, I need Ramparts run, so if you run Ramparts with me, I’ll run Slave Pens with you at a later time”… to random people? That’s not how social interaction works, friend.
So… you’re saying to trade runs with people? Despite only needing Ramparts run, you’re telling me to run 15 other dungeons in exchange?
Yeah, great advice. Let’s encourage people to play specs/roles they don’t want to play and provide opportunity for negative comments to come their way because they have no idea how to tank, but are doing so because people like you have said to play specs that others need them to.
That’s not a guarantee, even in guilds.
I am suggesting this is an MMO and the people that are crying are selfish solo players that only want their quick dopamine and theres already games that cater to them. No need to be in an MMO solo, if you are, mmos are not for you.
So… RDF is not a feature of an MMO? The people you DO group up with aren’t real?
its a feature that was brought in to cater to solo players in an mmo, which is why no one made friends any more, because they didnt have to.
That doesn’t answer my question. RDF is a TOOL that allows players to group with players they otherwise wouldn’t be able to, thus broadening their social experience.
Saying that RDF is not part of an MMO means that WoW hasn’t been an MMO in about 14 years, FF14 isn’t an MMO, etc.

I remember when Dungeon Finder was implemented and it didn’t really change much with this “community” people are howling about. It only affected people that wanted to gank at summoning stones

most people want the RDF or doesn’t care for having it or not having it, so only very few abusers wouldn’t want RDF for w/e false claims and fake reasons in their brain dead head.

You act like the classic community wasn’t already divided ? I think there’s this concept where people play classic think that oh we’re so much more together than the people that play retail no.
We are just as much if not more so divided then they are Why very simple Everybody has their own individual idea of what classic should and should not be.
Based on the way they play the game Some people care about what’s good for the game in there Perception the way they remember it.
If and some people want improvement because they remember the bad points of something You have people that want harder raids because they find the raids boring because they’re too easy.
You have other people that just simply burned out because well it’s a lot more grindy but some people want that preserved even if they commit they don’t like it.
So saying that RFD would be the final straw in the coffin bro The classic community is just as divided This is not going to be thing that destroys the game if anything does that it’s going to be the server cube problem.
My opinion is RFD should come in Especially considering the group finder that the gave us is a horrible implementation all they had to do is copy and paste it from retail and they couldn’t even do that.
All for the sake of these supposed pillars that I honestly think that that’s the way the developers play the game because nobody else I know place the game that way.
I’m sorry if your level 70 you’re not going back to stringle thorn vale just saying Unless you’re doing mount farms in ZG.
