RDF overcomes toxic behavior

It is well documented that since wrath launched the level of toxic parsing culture and gatekeeping has be an enormous problem for many, MANY, players.

RDF fixes this to a large extent. It should work exactly how BGs have worked since classic launched.

RDF was HUGE for casuals like myself. And by ‘‘casuals’’ I mean literally anyone that has a job lol. I’m using the term lightly lol.

Anyone who isn’t a gray parsing RP primate knows and understands the value of RDF. The only people opposed to it are unsocialized psych ward patients who do not understand what normal socialization is. They genuinely think saying “inv”, “summon”, “rdy”, and “thx 4 grp” is socializing because they are social pariahs in real life.

They really are the lifeless imo. Also, blizzard prefers them as customers, because they are more likely to buy all the other crap blizzard throws onto the cash shops. The rest of us just mainly buy the monthly sub and that’s it.

Spamming the forums irritates the average forum goer too.

Either way, toxic behavior occurs.

No one comes to the forums for actual discourse.

They want to see blue posts and then troll.

I come for the debates and entertainment.

Seeing repeated spam and people suffering from special snowflake syndrome is annoying.

Not sure why you people can’t just stick to one thread instead of making the same one over and over.

Unfortunately RDF brings its own toxic behavior, so its kind of a wash.

9 times out of ten it came from non-english servers like Warsong back in OG Wrath TM. They were the main ones who ninjaed and wiped on purpose and ‘’‘jajajajaed’’ in group chat before leaving. I know, I was there.

This is because blizzard fired all the GMs and forum mods, there is like one 15 dollar an hour employee that policies all the forums.

Bet even that persons been replaced by a program at this point. They need all hands on deck over at the overwatch forums to ban conservatives. Go over there, make a thread suggesting there should be a white male hero added to the game, and it will be deleted in 30 minutes or less. That’s how bad it is over there.

you are insane if you think RDF removes toxicity lmao

I would rather be subject to random bad luck with RDF than be gatekept by people who can’t walk up three flights of stairs irl without nearly passing out.

RDF, imo, will have toxic people. But do I think it’ll be a lot of people? Yes. WoW just has those players like that. Don’t know why, but also don’t really care at the end of the day. This is why I like other mmos more so compared to current wow. If the group messed up, they would reflect on it and try something else. But if the group messed up in wow, what do players do? Leave, vote kick, rq. Thats just how the players are in wow. And wow players also don’t really pay attention to chat when it comes to new/returning players. That’s just facts.

I do think RDF would be a good thing when it comes to the leveling experience for players. But the negative experience just comes from the players themselves. And in all honestly, blizzard should purge players from the game.

They’re doing the best they can

like the sarcasm.

Retail wow would not be around if it were not for RDF.

If the Random Dungeon Finder wasn’t added to wrath we would be playing Skyrim Online.

Ff14 is regarded to having one of the better MMO communities and they have RDF…

Should also add in LFR, that place is a beacon of hope and nobody ever complains or is toxic.

Join a raid with the click of a button, receive personal loot for your contribution and move on with the next weeks lock out.

Yeah, the amount of passive-aggressive people telling you “go make some friends” (like you don’t have and they are the most friendly people around) or "join a guild, it fixes 100% of your problems (another fallacy of their own).

we need RDF so these people can finally go f themselves and leave others alone.
