I have already tried the beta and you can easily quest to 80 solo so that is what I am going to be doing with my limited schedule unless they add in RDF.
But I just have to much to do otherwise and my friends play retail (and they rarely play classic.) I don’t have time like I used to for this game. If I tried to join a guild well they would kick me when they learn that I am just going to take most of the week off to write and stream other games lol.
You’re right. But at same time the players don’t want it probably all ready have a tank friend so they never see the other side of the coin.
Not only that but most groups not going to invite you if you compete for the same items. You’ll have best luck at creating your own group. either way you’re screwed if you aren’t a tank.
I personally enjoy making my groups this way. I’ll admit that I usually like to form the group instead of join one, makes the process go faster when you take the initiative. Your mileage may very.
Every self respecting paladin will go ret.
Every self respecting druid will go chicken
Every self respecting warrior will go titangrip. A few might go prot cuz its fun.
Every self respecting DK will go Frost
I really don’t know why people pretend that dungeon finder removes their ability to manually form groups. Of course it doesn’t.
And if reputation means so much to them, then make a name for yourself so that people would rather join your dungeon group instead of doing it with some randoms.
We have, and by “moving forward” we mean to point out it’s a bad idea. And it’s working. They confirmed that they are surprised by the backlash and are closer to putting it back than ever before.
everyone already knows LFD won’t be in till phase 2 anyways, they want to make people fear it won’t come so they buy boosts, same with faction/race changes.
this way they can play the “good guy” by claiming to listen to the community
