Too bad “would you like RDF with Wrath?” wasn’t on the table next to your Happy Meal.
It actually ended up being a good thing.
Games dead.
Leveling is dead.
We all raid log enjoyers.
I finally got to catch up on the RPG series I been wanting to beat.
Silver linings and all that.
Blizz made retail WoW bad so we could reclaim our lives.
I mean your parses are good but in reality you still choose the worst hill to die on out of the other hills.
I don’t care about parses I’m here to go fast.
Over 10 million people were still playing WOW in 2014. It wasn’t until 2015 that WOW saw the biggest drop in it’s history, almost 5 years after the changes you’re referring to. Try again
Show me the quotes.
Has absolutely nothing to do with RDF but. cool story?
It being a “phony recreation” is just you editorializing. And like I said, people didn’t quit en masse until almost a half decade later. Try again
Somewhere around ICC
Curious how ulduar speed clears go.
Hard to say how good someone is In this content tho, mythic raiding would be a better picture.
Idk i got cutting edges.
Brah I’m too boomer for that I’m getting old.
I do love me some M+ tho
Been giving swtor another shot, myself. Lot of content for free. Blizz flushing Wrath down the toilet definitely had advantages.
It’ll be weird because of all the various difficulties. I imagine only Algalon kills will count as full clears, but do you need to do all HM’s too? Is there a separate category for speed clears with full Hard modes? Does it include Yogg 0 or not? Just so many variables.
Speedruns will be the hardest difficulty on every encounter as a baseline.
Any encounters not done on their hardest difficulty result in a time penalty for the run.
The only way I will level again in classic is Blizzard adding RDF or Cross realm LFG, like come on I have a druid in Pagle sitting there collecting dust and alone because I cant be bothered to transfer it as it will not be alone but still collect dust because leveling is such a single player game is questing in this game is just boring.
easy, stacking locks.
That’s kind of my point is it’s really hard to see who’s good in who’s bad because the metric to it is basically irrelevant.
I got people in my raid team who parse 97%+ so that should mean they are good, yet some of them have died to 6+ void zones.
The measuring stick for classic is pretty small, which is why I think it’s harder to measure how good you actually are.
Maybe you’re good at classic but wouldn’t even make it passed the 3rd mythic boss and never ever get a cutting edge.
Classic players as a player base suck from what I have seen these last few years.
Yea just saw the article on WCL.
https://articles.classic.warcraftlogs.com/help/ulduar-25m-speedrun-rules
Its kind of a wild system but good on them for thinking it through
That doesn’t claim RDF is responsible for it’s health, but it does claim it’s NOT responsible for it’s decline.
Parsing is cringe.
Going fast is where you prove if you’re capable or not.
Utter nonsense.
When literally every single group you join consists of “hi” followed by “gg” or “port plz” when the run is over that’s not a thing you can actually change.
But having players waste hours spamming the LFG channel. Then hearth, fly afk to an instance portal definitely makes them more social and welcoming. Definitely doesn’t make players just annoyed and frustrated having to deal with a pointless, tedious process just to get to the content.
This is just common human behavior stuff…of which Blizz has zero understanding.
Going fast by stacking classes and doing fights with no mechanics?
Sorry no it’s not.
