Reading these forums and people in-game, seems like many want and are waiting for RDF. Seems to be one of the hottest topics IMO.
Has there been any recent update on Blizzard’s stance for this or are we getting ghosted?
I think a perfect in-between would be RDF for dungeons 1-60 or 1-70 (previous content)
Would be nice if we got polls to vote on this type of thing instead of if we will play cata classic, baby steps?
Given the updated LFG tool for phase 3, I’d say it’s pretty safe to say they’re sticking to their guns on no RDF coming for Wrath Classic, and probably no on the cross-server as well.
Anything could change in theory, but that seems like the safe bet imo
Fairly recently they went from “it’s not in the spirit of classic” (ie its never ever coming) to “not before ICC” (ie, who knows?) in a dev interview.
In short, we know as much as they do.
Blizzard addressed this before the WotLK beta. I would not expect them to keep addressing the same issue until and unless their stance changes. You don’t have to like it. You can keep lobbying for RDF. But acting like you don’t know what Blizzard’s stance is is juvenile.

And fairly reasonable to expect that they further clarify what they mean when they say “not till ICC at least” - ie, coming or not?
is suspect as is always the case that blizzard has said exactly as much as they are going to. if it’s in with ICC then it will probably be part of the ICC PTR (which one would expect will start fairly shortly, TotGC can’t carry a phase very long)
Certainly, I’m definitely not one to claim that Blizzards communication is any good.
But if it is coming with the ICC patch, why is it the only game feature to receive this treatment?
They painted themselves into a corner with their “it’s not in the spirit of classic” nonsense and some of us rather want them to answer for that.
I’m curious how long it will go. If they don’t have any break between PVP seasons going into next phase, then I’d suspect it will be 3 weeks shorter than last phase was.

We just have to wait till ICC to come out. If no RDF by then. We will just have to wait till CATA. RDF would decrease their profit from character transfers.
I’d have its fate tied to them seeing who moved on the 4th of July summer sale.
Did some servers get loaded to make life better. I know I took my cheaper window to consolidate on atiesh. I asked for 3 char deal, I got 3 char deal. On sale even.
Did smaller server get even worse.
Since blizzzard won’t share we’d not see this till next ironforge data cycle really.
The fate of RDF is entirely tied into how fast the TOC burnout sets in if I’m any judge.
And the TOC burnout was already bad in the original.
