As said above if you once again as said read people did outright ask for harder heroics, as well as others asking for mythic plus style heroics as well as some posts vary closely suggesting what blizzard is comming out with and heroic plus. Not only was heroic plus asked for by some people others asked for harder heroics.
The op claimed, and you by extension of arguing with the correction, no one asked for them when that is outright untrue. Just like you claiming they dint ask for heroic plus that is outright untrue there is posts that exactly mention people wanting harder heroics mentioning mythic plus as a example to how to do it. Claiming people did not ask for heroic plus is nothing more than a lie. There vary much was people that asked for it. In fact people even thanked blizzard in some posts for taking suggestions after they announced heroic plus. Just since you don’t want it dosent mean no one asked for it. Claiming no one asked for it is just untrue and continuing trying to claim it after being corrected is just dense. Than failing to read on multi posts now just shows you have 0 creditability to claim anything. As you can’t even read or understand basic posts, furthermore being able to claim you have read and understood every single persons posts out there to claim no one asked for something.

Noone did ask for the heroic+ we’re getting.
They do nothing for characters who are already raid ready and they kind of suck as a catch up mechanic since people can just run naxx 10 and they split the base of people actually running 5 mans.

Fact is people did.
Prime example Scotty Jay (feral druid streamer) that outright mentioned a vary similar system as a suggestion in his pre wrath vids before blizzard came out with it. This was after seeing fourm posts of it.
Fact is people did ask for heroic plus. The system we are getting is in fact vary similar to the system they where suggesting and talking about. Furthermore on a joint discussion with other streamers went and supported the addition after.
Fact is claiming no one asked for it is outright false. Saying it was a minority want would be accurate claiming no one is outright false.
Fact is noone asked for what we’re actually getting.

People asked for harder heroics sure. In retail that works because blizzard very lazily just scaled dungeons to the point where they drop current raid level gear. That is not what we’re getting in Wrath classic. We’re getting it’s tweaked out step child.

The vary source I mentioned talked about them droping relevent gear all xpac. Which included them even out right mentioning come icc using them as a catch up for uldar gear.
In fact people mentioning mythic plus like heroics was a vary common suggestion over beta thou rarely got support the suggestion was common to see.
Also where not getting current raid level gear where getting last tier raid gear quite a bit different. That is a catch up which was asked for.
I think RDF is needed, but I think Heroic+ would be a nice addition, it would essentially just be mythic+ I think… which is fine by me… why not both be added lol

Personally I don’t care one way or the other but I would pref to not see it added as rather see wrath as it was as close as possible.
My intrest in this thread is only correcting the incorrect statment that the change was not asked for.

Yes it will. Blizzard outright mentioned it. It droping 10 man raid gear of the last tier is what was mentioned which is droping relevent gear all xpac once added. While heroics drop relevent gear right now.
Except they won’t unless blizzard changes their design they will only drop naxx10 gear. Which will not be relevant when ulduar drops.
And it still doesn’t change that it’s horribly lazy design to just updoot damage/health instead of releasing new dungeons.
There vary interview mentions there plan is for it to drop the 10 man gear of the last tier not jsut naxx 10 gear. Naxx 10 gear was given as one example when talking about when uldar droped.
Right and 10 man gear from the previous raid tier is not relevant.
Mythic+ in retail despite being horribly lazy design at least scales up to current raid levels which makes it relevant.
Yes it is relevent as catch up gear. That’s not up to debate as that was the exact definition of relevent used in the suggestion posts I mentioned in my example above.
So it’s actually not relevant to the current tier, oh and yeah people can just run naxx 10 for it.

I feel you, I agree… I want the game to be as much like it was back when we all played it last. I wanna feel like a kid again entering ICC and beating the lichking, doing Ulduar again and killng Yogg, doing dungeons, PVPing and trash talking the opposite faction. No RDF has been a big negative for me personally and I’ve done like 1 dungeon, but I’m slowly leveling and will hopefully be PVPing and Raiding before we know it!

Right what we’re getting is not what was asked for.
Thankfully… sadly. I hate mythic+ in retail and at least heroic+ will be so irrelevant I can just ignore it in wrath classic.
