It’s really so nice to finally get to play the game. The best social feature ever created in an MMO is here. Just hit Que meet some people and have fun. As someone who mains 2 Prots, I got to do my first dungeon this year. First dungeon bunch of people that haven’t done this dungeon in years. Was great. We all learned the mechanics together and had fun! Just really brought a wonderful feeling that Wrath has been missing.
It feels like WotLK just launched. There is so much to do now we have RDF. I got to spam some Gamma’s got enough stone keeper shards to buy some shoulders for my Alts that I can now play and level because we have RDF.
I got to buy 2 Librams on my Pally that I’ve been wanting forever and did it in 1 night. Next up get to buy my BiS trinket on my Prot Pal - Death Verdict. Just feels great! Just get to chill meet people and Que up some fun and enjoy the game while actually having progression. Feels like how an MMO should feel now.
Ironically rdf is a good social feature in wotlk, why? Because actually this Will let You play in the world, make quest, enjoy professions and lvl up alters without wasting all of your time traveling to dungeons.
Actually this is one of my level 80’s and first main for Classic that I’m posting on. It’s really not my fault Blizz won’t fix the forums. That’s why my picture is wearing old 80 level gear. Gonna Que up some RDF with this guy latter today.
With that said I don’t know why you troll or what your problem is but maybe get a hug or something.
Yea this is a massive QoL social feature. You can be in Que for RDF and BGs. You can work on professions and do Dungeons. You can work on Quest and Rep and do Dungeons. The list is endless for how good RDF is and why it catapulted WotLK to the pinnacle of WoW.
It’s useless for finding raids unless you either make one, or constantly refresh the window looking for what you want…there is no ability to select VOA or ony for example…you only get to choose what is already there. There needs the ability to just list yourself like before
So far it’s not been too bad. I did have a tank that pulled all 3 packs (he was like a 4.2k GS) in Gamma Trial before second boss at once, and he died while I (the healer) was stunned from HOJ. He then blew up about there being crappy healers flooding RDF and left the group. Then we got another tank, almost instantly, and finished with next to no issues.
(wiped on p3 of last boss cause we weren’t anticipating the boss to chunk us like that, second go around we got it).
Have had 3 5.5k gs groups die before the first boss of AZ saying that its a normal pull to pull 6 mobs before the first boss, only to have everyone die to gouge because they don’t know how to range it or from shadow bolts 2 shotting people.
The rest of my runs have been smooth as crazy even the oculus that we did (everyone should do this dungeon you get an extra 3 triumph and 3 scourgestones when you compete it).
you might wanna double check that a lot of folks on the dps side are saying non-heroic Death’s Verdict/Death’s Choice is a difference of single digits of dps and in some cases a dps loss to the darkmoon card.
