RCR isnāt and wonāt likely be a problem for me or the players on the roleplaying side of things. I am behind RCR, even if some folk are terrified of its abuse.
Iāve only ever witnessed RCR being used to silence trolls and have not seen it used to silence opponents. BGs and āranked playā are not my concern.

Lol #fakenews. Iāve argued pro-choice vs anti-choice in the general chat in BFA and nothing happened. I got baited hard by a troll and both sides absolutely said things that people disagreed with and were probably offensive to some, if not many, readers. Still, no squelch, nothing.

I could do my usual and dig up the customer service posts of people who were squelched or silenced āfor no reasonā and ābecause hatersā and what not, where customer service refers to very explicitly ToS-violating public chat violations but Iām so tired of doing it that I canāt be bothered. If you want to add a little depth to your perception of this āissueā, I recommend you dig some up for yourself.
Long story short, I donāt believe most of these people when they ree about getting squelced āfor no reasonā. Does it happen? Yes, it does, I think we all remember the free moose carry guild that got silenced by a rival guild selling moose carries. Is this typical? Are most people complaining about it innocent snowflakes? Lol no.

Do what I did, I have a text files with all the links. Cut and Paste and done. I have had to use it once though, because someone claimed the mods deleted those threads.

No, it takes more than one to āSquelchā you, Silences are a punishment applied after a GM reviews it.
Squelches are temporary and do not add a black mark on your account. it just shuts down all of your chat abilities til a review of the report(s).
