Why isn’t a RBG open queue as a single player like random bg??? I am new doing PVP and I don’t even like it because it is boring and unbalanced af. But I like to get ranking on it, I play alone, my friends are PVE player. why isn’t in game queue for Rate PVP but open for everyone?? btw PVP Rbgs premadegroups is dead, nobody is playing it.

Because it’s a team based queue. Why would I want 9 keyboard turners queueing into my alt on my team?? You’re on a relatively dead faction. You’ll need to make friends to find groups, or just pug LFG until you have enough exp to join better groups.

Because the classic titles are irrelevant outside hero of the alliance/horde. I never see anyone using the old pvp titles anyway. Why would you be queueing into obviously the lowest denominator of players that actual keyboard turn, your looking at sub 1k easy…
You should be open arms to having rated more lenient for the casuals to give pvp a bigger player pool. This exclusivity mindset is why your side of the game is borderline barren wasteland filled with toxic rats eating their own.

RBGs really need something like this. Yes you’re at a disadvantage coming up against premade groups. But solo/open queue would be just like a ‘yolo’ RBG, except more people.

Apparently, getting beaten by PuGs scares organized players? I don’t know why you need to have a premade to queue.
People are playing it, but it’s a closed society. Try joining one of the communities that support RBGs

Solo Queue
- A solo rated arena or battleground queue experience could be very toxic.
- When you have pre-made groups you will have a leader which will set the tone for the group. If you act out of line, they can kick you out.
- The group finder has been a very big success.
- The team expected there might be a dip in Rated Battleground participation in this expansion due to the Conquest Cap changes, but it is up by over 50 or 60%. The rewards got worse, but it is now so much easier to participate.
- There are no plans for Solo queue rated PvP at this time.
Then it was mentioned again in the Legion PvP Q&A where they seemed a bit more open to the idea or had thought more about it since they were considering the specific issues that would be involved in implementing it:

What about solo queues for RBGs?
Blizzard feels that this would not be a small feature to add - it’s not like taking Skirmish queue code and putting on Rated prompts on top of it. For PvP brackets with solo queue, we’d have healer problems. Perhaps there could be an incentive for healers to queue, like extra rewards.
Other Blizzard games with solo queue, like Overwatch, have roles which are undefined at the time you queue up and the games face different challenges. This is different than Warcraft where you select a role in advance. Blizzard wants to avoid a situation of role imbalance while also trying to create groups of similar skill and MMR with quick queues.
Another issue is PvP composition; Warcraft is reliant on the synergy between different classes. If you are placed into a random group that is a bad comp, players will be upset and blame the matchmaking. There are some specializations that can shine in certain compositions, but can do poorly in a random group. Blizzard wants to avoid players being frustrated with the system.
There are also some issues related to MMR calculations on spec vs class, or harassment and stress - if the matchmaking system makes you lose rating or people in your group are purposely losing, that is upsetting and systems need to be in place to weed out players misbehaving.
Blizzard agrees that if solo queue existed, more people would participate in PvP, but it can’t be done recklessly or quickly. Setting this system up is a lot of work.
Also interesting to note that they mentioned Overwatch as an example of rated solo queue and mentioned it not having roles as a reason it worked there and might not in WoW. At the time that was true, but Overwatch now has a role queue system so it’d be interesting to see if their views on solo rated queues with a role queue change based on the changes in seeing how it worked in OW.

rbg really is dead though, what if youre not already in an established rbg society , then youll just queue into those people, with less of an army.

The RGB finder queue is empty most of the day a lot of the time. No reason to make it so exclusive.
Just don’t start crying about premades if they ever made this happen…understand what you are signing up for.
They should have a ranked random bg que.

Make random bgs more relevant.
Create a 6v6 rbg bracket.
If that doesn’t work then try a soloqueue.

That’s actually true, RBG have no reason to be exclusive content for premade groups, actually what about a open queue for RBGs, but with comp on it like LFR, LFR instance can not start with 2 tanks/4 heals and 17 dps, what about that on pvp queues, Also on Random BG, it is so unfair for enter in a BG and you don’t have any heals, and other team does.

Not even on the same level of play. One gives you 15 year old outdated titles and one greatly increases your characters power creep. The level of play is nowhere close.
The difficulty of the content is the point, not the reward structure.
Yes and rated bgs are nowhere even close to the difficulty of m20 lol…

On your faction LFG is empty, on horde it is not. From like 4pm-2am there’s 5-10 teams at any given time.

Regular battlegrounds run 24/7 on either faction(shrug)…I won’t be joining the horde, like ever, so that isn’t really an option.
