After Auto-attacking the first boss to near death i sacrifice my moonguard escorts 2 times with no death. 3 times. 4 times. eventually i stop receiving mana and auto attack her to death receiving no #1 ability.
After reloading ui between 5-10 times i will get the ability in my bar after activating the second gate. Even then the ability is greyed out without and ability to use it ( yes even with all addons disabled)
After reloading ui another 5-10 times it will randomly be available to use... however you are limited to 4 uses as you are "suppose" to get mana back from sacrificing your moonguard. However you are only getting back 24 mana per second when you have a giant mana pool of over 150k i think... so thats not happening.
So basically it is absolutely impassible with the endless wave of adds thrown at you before you can make it to the 3rd portal. I have the quest saved in my logs if any GM wants to come get some more accurate data to help fix this. Hit me up in game if you need any further details. Thanks

Wow. I have the exact same problem. I mean come on if you are going to make a scenario mandatory to complete the main questline you could at least make sure it's working properly with your new expansion (well the pre-patch). We pay a lot of money for this it's the least they can do. It's really frustrating and it's not like its optional if you want the new races.

Was able to do this to get to the last phase. Unfortunately in the last phase you have to go <20% mana, arcane siphon mana back, and get a new action button to appear. I could go sub 20%, but not regen mana or get the final action button to appear. Exiting the scenario doesn't help here because you cannot re-enter midway through a phase (after going sub 20%). I couldn't find a way to get by it. Anyone have any tricks to offer?
Same for me. I have tired several times.
The quest is bugged, now the colossal siegebreaker doesnât show up at all.
I couldnât get the ability to absorb from the Moon Guard once Iâd gone down into the pit, so it never allowed me to use the final spell. Once i turned off ALL of my add ons, it finally worked.
Confirmed it is still broken. Just had to submit a bug report because spells are not showing up.
I just completed this on my demon hunter and I am now trying to complete on my mage with no luck.
Bugged for me. Illidan only has 678 mana so I canât use the stormrage spell and complete the quest. Tried leaving the scenario multiple times, tried reloading the ui, and tried abandoning and restarting the quest. None of these have worked. Iâd really like to finish my class hall quests and Iâve been stuck on this part for a while.
This happened to me on my max level human paladin not sure why its been posted as death knight
STILL BUGGED⌠itâs 2022 and this is STILL not fixed.
2023 and STILL BUGGED. Arcane siphon doesnât generate mana, making the quest impossible to complete. Looks like I wonât be doing the class hall quest after all. Come on, blizz 
Hi, writing this in the far future where the quest is still bugged. During Legion, I managed to get a couple of toons through and am now trying to go back for those that didnât finish it off but it looks like they never shall.

Thank you like 5 years later. Mana wouldnât regen, and I could not make it to the second portal. was about to give up but want to finish the legion storyline for the class mount
totally insane that this quest is still not working and bugged in 2023, come on blizz wanting to finish these quest for balance of power
