But if you would recive rating for 5 wins when somebody leaves, that means the guys that lost 5 rounds should also get lowered rating. If you only recive rating then whats the point its free rating…
No one should recive rating in leaver scenario tbh, its either both recive win/loss or just leave as it is sadly.
Nah, calculate rating for those that didn’t leave on the rounds completed, and the leaver gets hit with losing all 6.

Todal 3 rounds were played for example and leaver left.
I won 2 rounds and you lost 1 round.
There should be 3 more rounds where you could defeat me.
Now you lost rating because of leaver and i “won” rating because of leaver.
Meaning rating was changed even though the match wasnt over.
Wich isnt how arena system should work at all.
EDIT: Leaver should get some kind of penalty so people wont leave matches and players shouldnt have their rating changed because of this.
Also if priests mind control disconnects you is that considered being a leaver? - because that is a known bug for years that wasnt fixed.

I disagree with this, I won 6 rounds back to back yesterday and the person on the other side left so my rating didn’t changed at al. That sucked.

I still think the opposite of you and think there should be 0 rating change simply because that would be unfair, to the people that didn’t get a chance and possibly “fixing” their score by wining additional rounds of solo shouffle - the ones remaining.
Its like saying WG could end after 10 minutes with score 1/0 because of a leaver. Wouldn’t make sense huh?
It’s unfair to the people who have wasted their time and got nothing out of it due to someone leaving.
It would if the players were like 2 to 10 instead of the “Not enough players, match will end in 5 minutes” that is completely pointless for most battlegrounds XD
I mean if there is a leaver that “sabotaged” the game its unfair to other 5 people i agree with that, however losing rating because of leaver is even more unfair, specially if other people gain rating.
Like somebody posted, account wide deserter would be a solution, with a timed bann if things like this continue in the future (think you can already get hourly bann if you leave 2 many bgs).
Also, I doubt Blizz will do anything against leavers and people will just have to deal with it.
“Oh I could have totally turned the match around” is entirely an assumption on your part. Possible, absolutely. But still wishful thinking.
Compounding penalties would help a lot with leavers agreed.

Ever played solo shoufle? Duelist geared players vs combandant geared players, its a total clown fiesta. I was trolling people hard in duelist gear and they couldn’t do sh*t. When teams swapped it was totally different gameplay. Call that a “wishful thinking”.
