That’s because there aren’t enough people in the queue.

The other healer was so low rated that he tanked the enemy average every time and the system basically assumed you should’ve won every match.

The one time you lost to the Spriest saved you from losing rating.

Even with what I said earlier, you’re not wrong that this is highly frustrating.

I tanked about 200 rating by losing 14 of 18 matches and taking my losses like a man earlier today. Then had about 8 shuffles in a row that ended with a leaver, and in my last 3 shuffles before this post had 4, 5, and 5 wins and got 0 rating in each because of how badly my MMR tanked from the 4 of 18 run.

I’m a bit of an optimist on this whole thing long term, but I do have my limits. That’ll be enough Solo Shuffle until next week.

I know rating doesn’t matter, it’s just that I started this week with enough rating from last week to upgrade that alt’s gear to Rival 2, but it was broken until the reset. Logged in today to get a quick win to handle the upgrade, but now I’m quite literally 170 rating away from the breakpoint and it took me about 4 hours to complete 6 total shuffles for a net loss of 200 rating because my rating tanked so hard during those first 3 tank shuffles of the day.

DKs too stronk. If leaving only affects your CR and not MMR, then the leavers actually have the right idea.

I think you’re missing the actual biggest issue in that picture.

That being that the 2100 guy went up in rating going 4-2 and the 2k guy got 9 going 5-1.

Are DPS and Healer MMR curves being calculated separately?

tried again one more time and again healer left on 5th round even though they won all rounds. asked why and they said because it tilts people and i just wait 15 minutes and do it again. is this something that be reported?

Why won’t you treat Solo Shuffle the same as arenas? Why the less rewards and worse leaver system?

Its the same as normal arenas what are you talking about? And dont cry about gladiator mount because u know you will never be able to get it in a first place if you b* about it not being in solo shoufle kek

If they leave it open for manipulation then thats exactly what people are going to do. If its looking like youre gonna lose rating you can just leave, hop to another character, goof around for 15 mins and get right back to it. Increase the deserter debuff to 1 day and make it account wide. I’m already accepting the fact that i get nothing for all my wasted time, but the penalty needs to be more severe to stop the plague this has become. There’s enough feedback for you to realize this is a huge problem and that its causing extreme toxicity for rated shuffle. Everyone loves the idea of rated shuffle, you guys just need to make some adjustments so its not so volatile to those of us who stay through all 6 rounds.

No, 100% of the games OP played were against that low rated healer.

Only half of the games the Spriest played were against that very low rated healer.

Rating gets reseted every time I log out, how can I solve this?

They need to change the reward cycle to (Per round) not calculated for the entire match. If this were the case and you won 3 rounds you would get rating for 3 wins if someone left the match early.

Yeah and stop matching 1500+ rated players with 0 or under 1000 ranking, you have to win 4 of 6 just to not lose rating its BS

Continuing the discussion from Rated Solo Shuffle Update:

The rating drop is beyond frustrating. It’s one thing when you have a set team and can discuss how to handle certain comps or situations, but the most you get in Solo Queue is what target to hit (which isn’t always the best option).

I’m unsure how to keep two other players alive as a DPS; I only have so much CC.

I had the same issue as Dabeard, a series of bad games, and my rating tanked, and I have not been able to get it back to where it was, even though I’m not the one dying.

In two games, I was going to get a decent boost(so I hoped) because I was in five winning rounds, someone left, and I got nothing.

I feel constantly punished for other players regardless of how much I improve.

I will say other than the rating drop it has been a lot of fun and I hope they get it worked out. It’s a fun challenge that keeps me thinking about how I can improve

I completely agree. I think the first step to fixing this issue would be to add a minimum ilvl. Yesterday I got in a game with someone who has a ilvl of 149. He was still using level 50 items.

It is literally impossible to heal someone like that and there is no reason someone with that ilvl should even be doing rated.

I wish I could say I was surprised that blizzard hasn’t even acknowledged these glaring issues yet but I’m still holding out hope that they will atleast release a blue post saying things are either being adjusted or will work differently at 70.

I see in the original post the paragraph on how rating is gained/loss and MMR is calculated, however either something is bugged or simply poorly configured. I’ve been playing a ton of solo shuffle in pre-patch so I’ve been taking it with a grain of salt in regards to the various problems(tanks, leavers, etc) in hopes they get tuned and resolved over time.

That said, I just completed a match in which my MMR was slighting higher than the average for the players in the match. I’m 1876 and the average was still mid 1800s. I won 5 out of 6 games and got zero rating increase. How does that happen?

It would really help if you could see a more detailed breakdown of the full match after it completes. Perhaps on the final score screen, you can add an “advanced” or “full details” tab/button that could show individual players MMR and such.

I’m a big fan of solo shuffle and really looking forward to it, but there are lots of things that need to be addressed.

Ive gotten up to 1900 in solo shuffle now fairly quickly, and here is some feed back-
1-When a person leaves, calculate the winnings and give rating accordingly to everyone else.
Nothing worse than sitting in an 8m que, to have someone leave and you get nothing for it.
2- Please disable tank ques. its pretty much a troll to be a tank in arenas unless youre a prot paladin. its wrong, and is not fun.

today i just had 2 games in row where i am at 3 wins and 4 wins and ppl leave em both and i get worthless honor . I proceed to go right into game with tanks and some low gears that get rolled and i proceed to go 0-6. Thanks for wasting times in que

Pleas give us the rewards equal to the person who leaves if we are in a winning round

I was thinking the same thing, that the match should just evaluate rating based on the rounds that were completed. Just had a 5-0 match where someone quit the last round on live and thought, “well… it could have at least given me the 5 rounds I did win.” perhaps an ad hoc type rating evaluation in the event of a leaver, in addition to their penalty.
