Did they say they were implementing rbgs? If so, that would be great news. If not, I am now sadge and wish to lay down.
No but I hope to make em move on it; that would be such a good addition and would be really fun for everyone. I love RBG’s they’re so much fun.

I dont think RBG can qualify for E-sport status; its not really something that can be put on the TV in an effective way.
People forget how notoriously toxic the RBG community was when it was first implemented in Cata.

I had a lot of fun watching my servers team win the AB “Classic Fall Conquest” tournament of 2020.
I was playing my alliance on the same server with premades against them a bit before that. They trash-talked us on the server discord pretty often, making that server rivalry, but going against them I can say they were very good and they used a lot of strategies that worked (and crazy consumes like Arcane Bombs, but good strategy too).
Well, now I’m getting nostalgic for the fun, memorable, and full of flavor and server personality days of Classic that are gone… and replaced with a lot of soulless, cookie-cutter and unmemorable things. 
Anyway, I put a like on your thread. I really do have fun in premade vs premade games.
Arenas are typically better as an e-sport, those are in WotLK so that comment doesn’t really make any sense. He should have stuck with the “not authentic” angle if he wanted to go down a path.

Yeah; I think the Arena is far easier to make a Esport out of even if i think its a bad idea to turn video games into “sports”…
Dude, Vanilla really is insane how good it is. For PvP use, Vanilla and MoP are crazy good for different reasons; the one thing they share are that the insane variety of options present in strategy that you see… and yeah most of the game is very cookie cutter despite better talent trees in most of the expansions.
Some of the goofy weapons and silly procs and dumb trinkets and ENG items really spice things up in BG; tho I dont see a place for those in arena because its just a different kinda thing.
Speaking of wild stuff in BG; that was a common theme between Vanilla and MoP; in MoP we got the gobblin glider, OMG that thing was fun. Ohhhhh and my favorite item; the nade belt

Won’t happen. They’re literally removing dungeon finder from wrath, in what world do you think they start adding stuff like rated bg’s?
