Nope. The vendor clearly says rank 4 honor req lvl 7 renown. 3+3=6.

this was because all the guides were based on 1 big russian spreadsheet that assumed the quest to get 5 souls would be available week 1
it wasn’t, only the 1k anima one was, renown 3 not 4 was the cap last week, renown 6 not 7 is apparently(i haven’t done my covenant campaign yet idk personally where it ends) the cap this week

Yes we were, it literally said in game last night that it was unlocked at rank 5, now they pushed it to rank 7 because F pvpers. They didn’t even put it in the patch notes.

Week 3 is when we get renown 7.
The cap is 6 this week if you were 3 previously.
Yes, yesterday it said that on reaching renown rank 5 you could unlock up to rank 5 pvp gear. Patch comes out today, sorry you must wait until next week, oh and we didn’t put it in the patch notes sorry about that…

I think its a bit of a bummer because rank 7 this week would allow us to be full 183 (m0) ilvl on week 3 start.
Which isn’t even that drastic because within 1-2 days everyone will be 210 from spamming keys until their eyes bleed out and upgrading w.e conquest you get to its max.

Tossing PVP a cookie this week would have felt nice since the new ranks will be obsolete when they release and DOA.
Basically the last honor gear ranks are useless. Week 3 start were all gonna be rushing to spam m+ keys to get to 210, do the raid for 213 to replace what we can and upgrade w.e conquest we get to its max.
Idk about you guys i wont even bother queing at first, just spam m+ 15 keys until your full 210 every slot, do raid to get 213 pieces, THEN que geared to the teeth and climb comfortably vs everyone else in 171 honor gear
Thats literally a 40ilvl advantage min on every slot to the people who que in sinful aspirant gear.
The versa gain/loss wont mean that much vs huge ilvl gap

Renown 5 has been the covenant campaign thing since release.

I looked everywhere I dont see why we dont get r7 on week 2. It basically means mythic players get ilvl 184 while pvpers are stuck at 171 until week 3. Then at week 3 I think we can upgrade to 184. With that said I dont know the time line for M+ or conq gear. So by that time the blue honor gear might not even be worth it.
Well here we are week two with out the option to upgrade past rank 3, looks like I was clearly wrong 
if it means anything week 1 is locked to m+6 or 7 as the highest source of loot
(197 or 200)

Hey buddy go read the thread, it said it before the patch on your covie stuff, then the patch dropped on tuesday and it was changed to renown 7.

Good post. I see “content creators” constantly praising this new honor vendor and how cool it is to buy an honor set yet stuff like this is never mentioned. Personally I’ll be q’ing up in my blues, but I’m not going to be happy about it.
