I don’t see how rank 15 would be a problem for anyone despite loot boxes added or not
Rank 15 we were supposed to get in the original WoW but never did. It gives you The City Protecter title. And also a custom title for your class as well that you have it on. R15 decays much more rapidly than any other version and it requires you to do more PvP than anyone else on your server for that entire week to get it and keep it up.
It was so grindy that Blizzard thought it would encourage account sharing so they never added it in.

There is no higher rank. For Alliance you are a General, you report directly to the king. For Horde, you are a High War-lord, the only thing above that is War Chief. Lore-wise as a high war-lord you would be in charge of your own clan.
Or…they could allow us to turn in 3 BG Marks for 1 Real.
I have ZERO desire to grind out R15. This PVP is not fun.
Looking into the old “City Protector” titles if they do a R15 there needs to be a big buffed set of PvP gear from armor to weapons and an option to turn marks in for other things like the crates you get for reals as well as commendations.
So because you don’t want to PvP for a higher rank no one else should be able to either? What is this childish mentality?
Why not just PVP to PVP? Why do you need a carrot at the end?
You can PvP as much as you want, sir. If someone wants a carrot to PvP, so be it? It doesn’t affect you in any way. You already said you aren’t having fun PvPing so the reasonable thing would be for you to avoid it. But let those who enjoy it have their carrot if they want to
I would be more in favor of a pvp quest line like the tbc attune, .5 series, or something long but with pvp objectives. I mean we have one in ab where you need to assault all bases, cap 4 then hit max rep then cap 5. Which trust me gives a sweet golden tabard.

That is cool. So now there should be zero reason why we cannot have R15 rank that we were supposed to have.
One of the reasons why they got rid of R15 before putting it in as well is because of the RPG element that they decided to put into this game. They originally decided that the game should reflect real life a lot more and that for immersion purposes, your toon could get…tired and so you would get be debuffed and not gain xp and all this other stuff. So that made people stop logging in and actually caused unsubs. So they had that feature in first ever patch and that was right when they were wanting to add in the R15 system. The two would conflict if added in at the same time and so it would be near 100% impossible to get R15 with that other system in… but that others system no longer exists and never came out with Classic so… no reason to not have R15 now.
People keep saying Classic and SoD BGs are dead… yea but this would help revive them.
R15 would probably revive BGs. Lots would grind for it.
15-18 would be awesome, pvp with pvp gear is actually alot of fun tbh
I do think r15 would be a cool idea, but ngl half of those benefits you suggested are absolutely ridiculous. It would straight make people feel forced to grind for it due to the immense amount of player power a 1.5s mount cast, an all-new belt enchant or the trade goods would provide.
Make ranking “Prestige”.
Give different color armor and +1/2 to each stat to compensate for effort. Nothing insane but stands out. At max prestige you get a tabard that has stats on it 
Also, you get rep towards main faction of choice to become exalted.
