There were a bunch of alts who ate up rank 1 slots, and I firmly believe the top 0.1% should be calculated based on accounts, not characters.
I’m far from ever achieving that feat, so I’m not advocating for myself, yet there are many players who deserved their title, but didn’t get it due to the spaghetti code in place to determine who gets hero.
Multi-hero should also be an achievement for the top players, yet don’t punish those who are trying to capture valuable slots for players who may be great at playing their best with one class.
If top players want to consume spots for 0.1% they should do so on separate accounts. It’s bad game design with the current system in place.
This was Monday so it could’ve fluctuated by then. Leeka (creator of Drustvar) said the numbers might be skewed because it’s easy to hide alts from scripts, but it was roughly 29%, so 49 of 170 were alts.
I think if it’s the same class, they should all get r1 if they’re in range, but they shouldn’t be eating up spots from other people because they have 3 of the same class. That’s potentially 29 people that missed out on a title.
No they don’t. Find me a clip. If one guy manages to get 3288CR on 3 chars regardless of if it’s same class or not and you truly think they shouldn’t get R1 on all 3 chars you’re out of your mind for sure.
Revo and Absterge both tweeted about it. Revo said 8-9 of the 17 warriors were alts. Xaryu has gotten it on multiple Mages in a season.
Didn’t say they don’t deserve r1. Literally said they should get it in my post if you could read, they just shouldn’t take away spots from other people if it’s the same character.
Let me be very clear. I understand you two seem to think that factoring in all chars of same class and spec as one when you’re above the R1 cutoff would work. You’re either in the cutoff or you aren’t. It’s a called being competitive. If you factor in 9 hpals into one THE CUTOFF CHANGES which I’m sure you understand yeah? I can’t imagine a world where I sit back and think this is a good idea to allow more players into the cutoff magically through merging alts into 1. It only messes with competition at the top level and how players decide wether to keep inflating the cutoff, push another alt up, or sit CR.
Even if the game was balanced, alts getting R1 spots over some dude who simple didn’t make the cut off is the guy who didn’t make its issue not the player with alts. Queue more games->win games-> push CR->get R1. Not a hard concept to understand. Don’t compensate players who didn’t make it because a guy who DID make it, did it 3 other times on the same account
