I mostly healed with my evoker and recently started doing bg with it as ranged dps. Before evoker I played a dk in bg. I’m liking it however I’m wanting ranged dps with more range. What other ranged dps is a good choice?
There really isn’t a “bad” ranged DPS. Some are stronger/easier than others, but all are decent.
hunter /boomy /lock/ mage /spriest
From my personal experience, Boomies slap if left unchecked, and Hunters are annoying, both for playing against and playing as.
I don’t think there’s a single bad ranged dps in the game atm

you are the most dangerous ranged spec in bgs if you can consistently keep your distance…you can solo a healer unlike any other ranged spec…no other ranged spec can solo a healer…but a good mm hunter can
ele is fun in bgs. You can go damage bot if your comp struggles in that department, but you can also go pure annoyance with blanketing earthquakes and static swapping as peels / setups.
If you go goblin with double jump you can do some pretty nifty corner hops.
hunter, lock , boomy , spriesty doin pretty well rn also disc priest some games i do more dmg then dps do .
MM and Boomie are most beginner friendly for random BGs if the goal is to do huge damage
Boomie is a lot more versatile in what it can do
MM has massive range so you can play very far back
I’m thinking, elemental shaman with mining and engineering. But not sure if I want to make a dark iron dwarf or a red skinned Draenei. For this I’m thinking purely about the look of the transmog
This is known as the most important factor when choosing a race. If you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you’re at least 15% more powerful. Sometimes more. No racial can even come close

depends on the tmog tbh what do you got in mind?
Kul Tirans never look good but haymaker is the best BG objective racial in the game.

MM with sniper shot I currently reach 70yards. Once I get a couple more Mastery pieces I will shoot from the moon.
