Random mouse sensitity spikes when turning character with naga razer mouse

I have had this issue for some time now, but it seems to be happening more lately. It’s annoying and it’s intermittent. my mouse will turn my camera in-game around super fast and it takes a few seconds to control it. It is very disorienting and sometimes interferes when I am in dungeon or raid runs. I have tried turning my DPI way down low, putting sensitivity settings low. But nothing seems to work. I have looked on google trying to figure out what to do, and its seems to be prevalent but not many answers as to what to do. I saw this old post from last year but no one had any real answers Random Mouse Sensitivity Spikes

Weird thing is, it only happens when I play wow, no other game. So has anyone found a solution? Are other people still having this problem too? Is this a WoW-Naga Razer hardware or program issue? Does anyone know?

I think this might be related to the wow client or maybe windows and not Razer mice in particular, I say that because it sometimes happens with my Logitech G600 and even with one of these cheap wireless microsoft mouse I have to use on my laptop when I’m not home.

If you have extra buttons near the scroll wheel, you may be hitting them. As their default state is adjust mouse DPI. You may be bumping one without noticing.

Had this exact same thing happen to me, I opened a ticket and it turns out it was my Razer Synapse App. I uninstalled everything having to do with Razer and it fixed the proble.

This happened to me as well, on my Razer Deathadder Elite. I fixed it by going into System/Advanced and unchecking Max Foreground FPS and Max Background FPS.

I had the same problem bout 3 days ago. It seems to be a problem with wow your mouse is all good. Here are a few things gs to try.
Type this into chat in game
/script SetCVar(“rawMouseEnable”, 1)

Also, try going to your wow WTF file and open it in some sort of text editor like note pad and add the following 2 lines.

SET rawMouseEnable “1”

SET rawMouseAccelerationEnable “0”

The WTF fix worked for me. Otherwise the problem seems to work itself out over time but of course that makes the game almost unplayable for a day.

Could also try repairing the wow download.

As a poster above me said as well you could try the max foreground fps fix. I know this was a problem during legion. I personally haven’t seen it pop up in bfa but I’m a very small sample size so it could very well work.

Awesome, thanks for the replies, I will try them all out!

When it happened to me it was usually because it switched profiles.

Fastest way for me to fix it is to unplug the usb and plug it back in.
