Can’t queue for random BGs on a character lower then 20, since the recent update.
It’s best to queue bgs at max level. No one does the lower brackets anymore.

What’s happening when you try to queue?
In group finder, hit PvP and then the random battlegrounds is grayed out and you cant click it. You can click specific battlegrounds, but then only WSG and Arathi are listed as choices. I was able to queue for random before this last update.
Respectfully, people can do what’s considered “not best” because it suits them. Also, this isn’t their problem.

I don’t play all the different versions so I’m unaware of what has a recent update. I also don’t pvp so I am unaware how each version handles pvp so I’m unsure what to help look for.

What you’re seeing is normal. if I remember correctly.
More BGs should unlock as you level.
Eventually the button should ungrey, but you can select the BGs specifically until that happens.
Those of us who have been doing pvp a long time would recommend, just as Snowcrest did, that it is best to wait until max lvl for pvp. Most of us do not do pvp any more while leveling for a number of reasons. The BGs don’t pop as often as there are fewer players and there are those who enjoy one shotting in lvling BGs with scaling stuff, etc. Yeah…
But, it’s your call.
At some ponit as you level the random BG button should ungrey, with more BGs opening along the way. I forget when that happens, but I am pretty sure that is how it goes still.
