What Im trying to understand, is what you regard as ‘not an average random bg’. You mean one with premades? And what of player experience? I know you’re high rated, and run with other high rated.

if it’s a real game and the enemy has multiple purges rdruid will have a harder time than any other healer
Also is anyone else going to put out a list? Everyone just commenting on Bri’s, I want to hear what other people think is good and bad
^ True. It only has a huge impact if you are tying things up 2v4+. But, that is not in your control, the enemy team has to allow that to happen via bad map awareness.
Such a list is very dependent on the playstyle. The list will look quite different for team-fights and for playing objectives or in with a premade and healers or not in with a premade and healers.
I think pretty much everything can do fine in a random BG without premades but everything will do poorly solo queue into a premade that is focusing them with CC and damage.
And, then some classes are just much easier to play than others so are harder to shut down.
I could give a credible solo queue tier list, but aside from a few specs they are all fairly close to each other because my S tier would be any PLAYER with good map awareness, which doesn’t depend on the spec.

And what of the resto’s buddies who’d burst on the purgers?
You’ve created a scenario of multiple purgers against one player, but negate to consider resto’s allies who can intervene.
It’s nothing more than a strawman.
And its why I critque lists like these. At best you could tangiably create a list based on easiness of play, and what classes counter others… but an overall ‘this is the bestest’ is way too subjective

Also druid has fairly weak externals compared to the other healers, you’re not really going to stop someone from getting 1 shot. Good MM hunters will just walk away from the game because the druid has to hot up different people very quickly and insta ooms
no just 1 purger and couple DPS will take down a resto druid
Ive run with glad level resto druids in RBGs. If it were that simple, he wouldn’t have outhealed all the monks and priests in our team.

And we face glad level resto druids, and we’ve also done rbgs at 2700 mmr
The only druid we’ve ever played with raged about purges till he swapped to something else.
And the entire time he got flamed for doing no healing
Except you have a premade, and he probably solo queued.

That’s also the only good druid we see in randoms, outside of bob, who also crumbles when spam purged. Who has several 100 million healing games

It’s the most fun ever till people start purging, then it just feels pointless to even try
