Random BG Players: Best in the Game?

Every rated form of PvP content I do I can get some wins yet in random BG’s over the last week I think I have a 100% loss rate. Truly some of the best players in the world enjoy this mode! Hats off to you all.

A lot of people that would normally be queuing high level rated PvP are doing randoms rn to farm honor for next week. Unforch that most of those people are Alliance. #nerfshadowmeld #nerfgnome

It’s not that. This was a subtle jab at premades. Guess it was too subtle.

Wait… people worked together?

Here we go again….

In many randoms if just a 5 man group joined the bg, it’s 1/3 to 1/2 of the players. That is huge. There’s nothing wrong with people queuing together in a 5 man.

Right over your head like normal, you really got to stop exposing yourself like this bud.

I’m not your bud, pal.

Just wish Blizzard would only put people who queue as a premade into other premades and people who queue solo into other solo players. Getting four 13hundo frostmourne MM hunters+a geared healer following them around vs my team of chickens with their heads cut off just isn’t my idea of fun. Also it would be one thing if it happened sometimes but it’s every single game at this point and I’m just left speechless at how far people will go for an advantage in such inconsequential content.

well the thing about rated and unrated bg players…that there are no rated games at the moment. so you are facing a lot of rated players in unrated games because they have no way to que up for rated. Season is over. and lots of us rated play with buddies. so now you have an unrated bg with a group of rated players in it. things are dying fast.

Yeah no. Being a “rated” player means absolutely nothing. Some of the worst players I have ever seen were in rated blitz games (God help me in a 1500 EotS game). The issue is people queueing as a group vs people who didn’t. I just never realized how bad it’s gotten since I’ve rarely queued random BG’s for a while now. Every single BG I check the other team and there’s 2 leaders on their side with a geared healer (even the most clueless healers are immortal without dampening) following a small group around decimating the other team. It’s absolutely cringe inducing behavior and can’t believe so many people do this now.

Agreed. There’s nothing wrong with that, and it can make a significant difference.

However, no one is complaining about that and you know it.

People are complaining about queue syncing multiple premade groups as a defacto raid, and filling all 10-15 slots of a regular BG, or up to 40 in EBGS.

Stop pretending that anyone is talking about anything else when they complain about “premades”. You’ve already been called out and corrected about this on multiple threads. If you can’t play the game as intended, that’s on you, not us.

You don’t expect them to play fair for their streaming channels, do you?

Respectfully disagree. Even a single 5 man premade can run a BG vs uncoordinated solo players. Under no circumstances should players queueing solo be put into the same BG as people who queue as group. If that means the group queues never pop (like what happened with twinks) then so be it and good riddance.

I’ve legit not seen a single bg I’ve done with a full team on the other side.

Epics? Oh yeh. And got obliterated.

You can’t correct opinions hah!

But… I am. MMO is made to play with others.

Buddy when I zone in and look at who I’m facing I can tell you right away we are gonna get freakin smoked because it’s a group of rated players I know. Or maybe they are on our side. So yeah….rated players in unrated games is a big deal and it’s a big difference

It’s a matter of opinion whether it should be there or not, but I was referring to the actual intended design of the game when I said that there’s nothing wrong with it.

It’s like those “take a penny, leave a penny” jars that small businesses used to keep by their cash tills. It’s okay to take a nickel or a dime, but it’s not okay to empty the whole jar to pay for your purchase. There are people that would do this anyway, because no one was stopping them.

Now, those same people queue-sync premade raids for unrated pvp.

Wait…. Is it cause they work together?

Cause that’s what they do.

You’d be surprised how many rated players flop in bgs and ebgs. Poor team comp and other factors.

One of the reasons players give up so easy is the fear of what they see. I’ve seen clutch matches with insane wins because players fought hard.

Ah ok, my misunderstanding. Yeah it’s not against the rules like your example of syncing multiple premades. I still think the “rules” need changed with regards to this though as it’s creating really unfun experiences for other players. Once the next season starts I’ll be done with random BG’s again but I can’t imagine how terrible of an experience it is for new or casual players and how much it probably turns them off from PvP going forward.

what if 10 people solo qued but syncd ques? those 10 people could get into the same “solo sandbox”.

sorry did i just ruin your whole idea? back to the drawing board.
