This guy “haraldan” got permad for apparently “cheat software” on his computer and actually went to the customer support forum to ask what the software was and a blue told him “warden detected some potentially suspicious program on your computer and flagged your account over it”
So in other words absolutely nothing concrete and all he got was a reduction from perma to 6 months eventually.
Why do you desperately hold onto this lie so much. It’s sad honestly. A forums mod has zero say in what happens in the game. The sooner you accept that fact the better. But you won’t because it doesn’t fit your narrative.

I turn chat completely off now before I start BGing for the day. I also turned off any addon that auto generates text in chat that can be reported for spam. Its “hey lets chat in discord or lets not chat at all” going forward for me.

every report is looked at by a people if it resulted in account action. a mass report can trigger an initial squelch (no talky in public channels but can still play) and if warranted the account action follows.

I mean every email I’ve seen of people getting banned does not include what they said or did in detail to warrant the action like should be required and is required for someone to take action irl.
It’s just “account action taken proof of the crime : blank. Usual tos lecture end email” pretty much the laziest thing you can imagine.

Catching up on this thread. Thank you for illustrating the problem so well. That’s what we have all been saying so it’s great to see it come from one of the players actually causing the problem.
The correct thing todo is to not cheat. Cheating furthers cheating.
This is a fallacy. That problem wasn’t a big deal a decade ago. It wasn’t a big deal even 5 years ago. It’s a problem now.
They all cheat. I don’t look at other players cheating and think “Maybe I should also cheat.”
They all ruin the game for other players.

you have to challenge the account action via the ticket system to get a quote of the mean words which can take multiple attempts OR start a thread about it on the cs forums and after trolling all the hall monitors there a blue will come in , tell you what you said then close the thread.

I completely understand why someone would be upset about the current state of EBG’s. It’s not good for anyone but the clowns who form 30+ member groups specifically to go at PUG’s for hours upon hours every day. I’m sure many, like myself, queue for these games far less than they would otherwise. So you can rage and lie all you want to prevent yourself from being able to comprehend my position, but you’re not going to make those lies true.

Blizzard is very heavily invested in Mythic+, because They buy the most tokens. If people are doing battle grounds they aren’t buying tokens. This is my opinion on why they don’t care about PVP. Look what happened in WOD. The PVP was awesome! But, they dropped the ball on PVE. After WOD, Legion was a great xpac, the last good one, The PVP was great but the M+ ran wild and Blizz said HEY! We make so much more money from M+ token buying. Forget PVP lol.
