I have 32 gigs of ram so I’m not sure how I ran out of memory. Don’t run into this issue anywhere else but wow. Must be a memory leak that should have been fix previously as reported by blizz last year. This defect will happen pretty often.
were you crafting? because that’s really the only thing that gobbles up memory, though I’ve only gotten it up to 8gigs by crafting nonstop for an hour
got that message twice this weekend as well. honestly dont remember what i was doing at the times though, but i do crafting, dungeons, and maybe an lfr.
thanks. i’ll have to doublecheck which one i’m using whenever i log on.
I’ve never ever ran out of RAM even on my older 16GB systems, and definitely not this 32GB system. Sounds like some addon(s) are eating it up since some of those use a chunk of RAM. Even with several browser tabs open while running WoW I never use 50% of my RAM.
because I’ve never used add-ons so I don’t know anything about them. You could be right.
Do a full UI reset! You could have a corrupted ui that is causing issues.
This is from a few months ago and was already patched.
I’ve experienced this when prospecting hundred thousand ores. After some time, it starts taking longer to receive the loot and often the ended up in the mail instead of my bags. I’ve done UI reset and removed entire addon folder and ran repair. I still got horrible lag after so long. Restarting WOW every 30 minutes seemed to keep the problem from occuring
Maybe ask in tech support, this seems like it could be a problem on your side
