This happens every patch since I came back (BfA), still no permanent fix for this, I just alt tab and came to complain.
Incredible this has not been fixed for this long (3 different gaming pc on this time), I have a RTX 3060 now and there’s no issue in any other game (again for years)… and yeah Direcxt 11 fix it, but performance and visuals are seriously hurt.
PS. Wanted to share a screenshot, but it seems I cant.

Just seen a bunch of people on twitter complaining about this so maybe it’s becoming widespread enough that they’ll finally consider fixing it.

I’ve been having this problem intermittently. I was also getting black streaks on certain meshes, usually people’s hair. I even alt-tabbed out of the game and everyone’s names were all messed up when I alt-tabbed back in.
A driver update solved most of my issues, but sometimes I’m still getting weird texture glitches. Even on icons too.

UPDATE: Everyone it’s been confirmed that it has something to do with Dx12, if you go back to Dx11 it will fix it.

The changing DX12 to DX11 trick others have mentioned seems to have fixed it.
I’ve been getting this ever since prepatch. Random parts of world texture, trees, npc book, map areas or chat box would appear with broken rainbow textures. Restarting is only way to fix it.

That’s literally the opposite of a problem
Turning Direct X 12 down to 11 in the games graphic settings has fixed it for me I haven’t had an issue since.

So it’s not just me? Thank god! My personal computer is just over two years old now so I was hoping I didn’t need to replace it.

This is happening to me too. Tried different versions of nVidia drivers too and no luck.

I’m enjoying this bug very much. I love seeing how the textures glitch it seems so random, but looks awesome.
Good GOD this JUST start happening to me with last update. They really need to fix it…super annoying. DX11 does fix the issue, but thats not a real fix.
