I think it would be awesome if you could redo raids and just not get loot. I know this can create problems but if you look at the way things are now its not uncommon for players to have like 5 different characters to do what they are doing. Idk what the solution is but i want to raid more and learn the mechanics of the raids better but i simply cant because i only have one chance a week to experience the content.
Have you considered playing alts?

Yeah the only way to get more practice is to level an alt and raid on multiple toons. Retail does allow you to do raids as many times as you want without getting loot just like you were suggesting. This kind of change would be unpopular though because a lot of people don’t want fundamental changes to classic wow.
There’s a lot of things the Classic team could have done to make Cataclysm suck less but the Classic team is desperately trying to salvage SoD after they fumbled a multimillion dollar ball.
Did you read the OP before you commented? you are a lvl 10 that does nothin but hides and bit**** behind a alt… I Would love to raid my same mage 3 times vs gearing 3 mages.

Hes asking to play his main characters more because you cant even do 10mans to pump after getting near gear, only option now is rdf and it SUCKS.
