Pretty much. The only numbers I really care about are what they’ve done for dungeon and to SOME extent # completed in bracket. I’m not going to deny a rogue that is 400 io to my 12 UR when they’ve been farming like 14s of the dungeon looking for tusks (and don’t have scores for the other dungeons because why run a dungeon for no reward).

You’re part of the problem alliance has a small amount of players for high-end content. Not the cause, just a part of it.

The problem is that it does hold you back b/c its considered a viable form of gearing for raiding if not completely an avenue to replace it. You saying that it doesn’t hold people back is disingenuous
Or, hear me out, start your own groups and invite who you want. Orrrrr you could always make friends and run keys with them.

You do realize this doesn’t absolve the fact that it still holds people back b/c its considered a stepping stone or a viable replacement to raiding? Especially late into the season when the avg is well above 1500+. The addon is great in theory but perversed by the community when something as simple as a +10 requires a level way above whats require in terms of points. Its like forming a raid for H EP and asking for nothing below 440+ ilvl, despite the fact that people with that ilvl prob wont need anything out of it, if not one piece.
Yes you can. In fact everyone who has an IO score built it up from 0.

You have 2 5s and 2 2s on that character with a 414 ilvl. I wouldn’t invite you either even if I wasn’t working on time. It’s nothing personal, it’s just that I can bet on a 10 there’s already 15 people who are actually qualified has also applied. If I were trying for time I definitely wouldn’t invite, just because inviting someone at that gear level and level of experience is almost guaranteed carry or scuffed key. It’s just not worth the risk. 10’s are tuned for 415 just to complete, you’re going to want higher to push. And affixes require experience because I’d rather not sit there with you dying because you can’t Los an emissary or you’re going balls deep into a non elite trash pack causing us to wipe to bursting.
The fact is is that you can start your own group. Stop blaming everyone else for your own downfalls.
The fact is that I raided and didn’t have to waste time in M+, but I understand how stupid hard it is just to get into a simple +10 b/c braindead people think it requires overgeared individuals to do content thats on par with H EP.

I’m not making a H EP pug for you, I’m doing it for me. if I want to make a fast 440+ farm group that excludes anyone under that ilvl, that’s 100% ok.
same with m+. people are making groups for them, not for you. that’s just something you’re going to have to get over.
Not every group is going to include you. not every group is going to include me. some groups will. that’s how it works.

Forges, sockets, trinkets, you know, common reasons people do farm content.

Then let them do it on their own terms, not under the guise of an addon that excludes ppl based on a stupid number that can easily be spammed. This addon is more so acute on alliance where there are so few ppl to begin with.
Its just a bunch of wannabe elitists who wouldn’t last past the first encounter in a mythic raid.

Lemme wrap this up b/c critical thinking just isn’t your guys’ strong suite, this is the new gearscore, and under a competent management/dev team, it would have been tossed out like gearscore was in WotLK.
Is it the not getting invited to a 10 thing? If you arent geared, why would anyone invite you over the 20 other dps in queue with more gear and more experience?
Can I do a 10 with 425 inexperienced ppl in the group? Yep.
But I can do it a lot faster, smoother, and have more fun, with a better geared player with more experience in that spot.
If you want to pay me (gold, of course) , I’ll run as many 10s as you want 
I kid. Mostly. If I’m on a 425 geared alt, I’m going to invite similarly geared players. But those aren’t the groups you’re mad you can’t get in.
