I didn’t run many dungeons because I didn’t have lots of time like my other friends who were online 16+ hours a day! I have about 700ish-800ish raider io on my toon. With that raider IO I am NOT even being considered for +10. Out of about 14 applications I may get into one group that takes me about 1.5 hours to find as dps…
Yesterday I think due to holiday and not many people online, I was accepted into +9 with my “bad io” that’s not in 1800’s rank… well let me tell you, we 3 chested and everyone was crazy happy! OMG how could we have a group of 500 raider io and 900 raider io??? Isn’t it BAD??? Everyone, i mean EVERYONE in the group was A+ player. interrupts were like butter, awesome healer who kept people topped off at all times, great tank who cc’ed a few mobs during run as a monk tank and myself as a hunter. We had a feeling of a “team”.
Then after Christmas it’s back again “…CHECKING RAIDER IO, less than 1800 need no apply”… yeah. Such stupid things ruining this game! /End of story
I play 1-2 hours a day and managed a 1000+ score and get into many 10+. But then I’m not trying to get people to carry me. Players like you just want to get carried and hate that we have a tool that helps prevent players like you from leeching.
I liked both of your posts, since I don’t have a horse in this race and you both made the same points I’ve heard a lot (on this subject.)
I remember the early days of games like these, where you were just happy for people to play with. Overtime, it inevitably changed to “oh, except for that guy. His stuff is bad and he is bad!”
Play a role that doesn’t have 21,834,295 other people competing for the same spot in a group, and you’ll be invited quicker. Or start your own groups. Obviously.
I feel like whispering the lead helps. If it annoys them, chances are they were going to decline you or at least wait and see if something better comes along anyway. 'Cus otherwise you’d have already been invited, yeah?

i mean mythic + is designed around time so you have to finish with speed and you need quality players to do that. I’m not saying that a 0 score player means he auto sucks but if I wanted to run sometbjng that has a small window for mistakes then I don’t want to risk inviting him. I prefer someone who’s proven himself (and yes there’s a chance he could suck, I’m aware). There’s other pve content that isn’t so critical like raiding or regular dungeons. You aren’t required to run mythic+ .
That is bad, I should be satisfied with just searching and searching until someone finds, but more because of the distrust of not choosing worthy people who know how to play the game, or who learns a bit how is this mechanic. It’s just an elitist festival that just wants to win your achievements from those who are good at their games, something like a Grats.
Raider. io does not help anything, it is not even a worthy page, Blizzard should do the same instead of requesting third-party websites, it is increasingly difficult and with the division of the WoW community between Retail and Classic it It makes it harder for any WoW category to be raids, Mythics + and RBGS.
And Ladys and gentelmens, We see the issue of the problem, you want a business, there is work out there, in reality not paying to give a tour of people who do not even have interest in the game.
The carry problem is still doubtful no matter how much Blizzard has eliminated the carry by means of cash instead of gold and also a cause more than the real culprit are our friends carry who only take it as random games anything that is you come like gangsters and pimps in the streets of bad death.
I am not all that familiar with IO as I have not found the dungeons all that engaging in BfA, but how is this different than every other player created gate that we’ve had since WotLK? GS, iLvl, and achievements have all been road blocks to entry in the past. What makes this different, better or worse?
