And yeah… We have the friend of the Bronx… oh… god… Too much jargon, what else do you talk about your twerking?
You know what would solve all your M+ problems?
Join a guild.
A guild such as < Sodium Enriched > on Area 52. (Shameless plug)
Lol on my warlock I was running 13+ with 400 ilvl and without raiderIO. Best way to do this it’s to find friends , even guilds are the same when it comes to ilvl and raiderIO. I was running with my friends all the time and get my self to 440 without problem and having to pump my RaiderIO score
^ this TBH
Best advice is to run your own keys or change to healer/tank.
I know the feeling. I get called either huntard, even though pet is on taunt and I’m in the back killing everything, or my ret pally. I get a whisper stating to know my class, you suck etc. Despite the fact I’m NOT dying, helping off heal and doing dps. That’s why I’m recruiting for our guild. We don’t take things serious and bullying is not allowed. That’s why I hate PUGs.
Plus I bet you had fun, right?? No pressure or name calling. I’m always researching to better myself. But since I deleted and now rezzed my ret pally, I have to start building all over again.
As a hunter, my advice is to turn off auto shot and not tab target. I learned that right away when I started doing keys. Hunter pulls are 99.999999% of of the problem and in keys they happen easily if you tab target another mob while still in combat. Another thing is to have your pet play dead on keybind to prevent pulling if they chase a mob that flees (like the mobs in Tol Dagor).
Yeah but even then, thanks and healers get blamed for everything. I’ve even had to tell PUG groups I was in to knock it off. The tank and/or healer is doing fine and we always are learning.
Ofc I had fun. If we die it’s part of the game. And games are created with one purpose “To provide people with fun in free time”
That’s to be expected in an online video game, especially if you are playing the more important roles like tank or healer.
100% correct. Tanks set the pace in mythic keys, which is vital for timing them. Healers need to be able to predict damage and know what abilities to dispel and what they need to use cd’s for.
Yup. Had 2 friends carry my baby brewmaster tank through a KR 10 last week just before reset so I could get a 440+ from the chest. My monk was ilvl 407.
raider .io is not holding you back, you’re holding yourself back.
I have literally gotten into 10-12’s on zero IO characters. Know how? MADE MY OWN GROUP. /thread
I have the same ilevel as OP and I wouldn’t take him or me either.
How do we even have the same ilevel when I haven’t done anything BfA related in months?
P. S. Enchant and gem your gear OP
My understanding of RaiderIO is that your score is summation of the points you’ve earned from all 10 mythic+ dungeons.
My problem is that I tend to run just one dungeon (such as Freehold) on each of my 7 toons. So my raiderIO scores don’t even show up. I know Freehold very well and, even though my toons all have ilvls from 426 to 431, I’ve only gotten one invite to a +10 in the past month.
To be more fair, RaiderIO should only report your score for the dungeon that you are applying for. If someone has a 1000 RaiderIO score but has never run even a Mythic 0 Freehold, how is the key holder going to know that the applicant has no idea of the mechanics of the fight?
Because the tooltip will show the person’s experience.
Here’s a screenshot of the tooltip I see when I hover over a player (Me, but I blacked out the name/guild so blizz can’t be all RAWR CALL OUTS)
note: this is with the alt key pressed, so you see a bit more information than the regular hover.
Additionally, if I were looking at people in a queue for a specific dungeon, it would also tell me what their best completion for that dungeon was.
it’s so much more than just a score. The score itself is actually the least important part of it.
Here you go. I made a freehold +15 group to grab a screenshot
You can see, the addon tells me that this person is 1589 io, which means they’ve got good experience for a 15 fh, and their best for the dungeon I’ve created a group for is a 16 untimed.
Do your own key solves both these issues. You find out what it is like when 12 dps sign up at once and have to decline 10 of them and you actually get “invited” to your own key.
Thanks! I didn’t know about the ALT key (and hopefully you’ve educated a few other people too )
