io/logs are fun, some people find it fun to push themselves…I don’t understand how the ONLY way you are able to have friends and have fun with them is by doing CE content or +22 keys…do lfr or normal with your friends and have fun! That’s why I raid normal and heroic with the people that I enjoy spending time with and then when it’s time to put work in, I have a group to do that with. I know there’s more ‘favorable’ class/specs and such, but anyone can play anything as long as they’re a competent player, except survival hunter…screw survival hunter.
Start your own group and include who you want.
It is not that simple and the fact you think it is discredits you to the point of hilarity. Number of abilities is meaningless. World first races pits the best players in the world against a boss. What they find hardest is what denotes true difficulty.
Some people can’t not stand in fire, doesn’t mean fire on the ground makes a fight difficult.
PS: It’s clear you don’t even know how Mythic Kil’jaeden works as he has far more mechanics when you include his Mythic only phase.
You’re being ridiculous. Almost no one finds this fun. These modes aren’t rewarding enough to make them feel worthwhile for anyone.
If everyone can play everything, why are the covenants so unbalanced in population?

It’s already designed that way. There are so many stages of difficulty to choose from before players start filtering you. Learn to walk before you run.

I dislike Blizzard implementing IO to the game as much as anyone, but this is a misrepresentation of reality.
Implementing io is not supporting bullying any more than having chat is supporting bullying.
If this is a serious topic, then please stop. Misrepresenting the situation just makes the legitimate arguments that this is not a positive decision harder to make. If this is a troll topic… then also, please stop because it’s been done to death so you’re not really being creative.

The game does a very poor job teaching people to play. The difficulty curve is far too steep.

I don’t think they’re your friends if they’re hammering you about your io score.
People really need to stop crying about this.
If io wasn’t around then we’d just be back to linking achievements and meeting at the bank for someone to inspect your gear.
Players have been finding ways to pre-determine your ability to play in a dungeon or raid since the game was created.
Lastly I’d you’re such a good player then getting a decent io score shouldn’t be a problem.
Nope. I want the gear rewards to be given to everyone, but keep the prestigious titles, mounts, xmog for the harder content. This will remove the desire by most casuals to get into elite groups in the first place, and it will leave competitive modes for those who want them.
Um…ilvl in wrath…not seeing raider io being the next thing seems a little funny and over blown in the amount of freak out…it dosent support bullying it supports players being able to pick players of similar skill to pug with.
Your still free to group with friends and guildies. This change just makes where now you are not forced to have an add-on.

IO seems only somewhat related to skill. It is not a great measure of player skill. Logs are probably better.

No, IO is a great way to find find jobs you are qualified for so that you don’t waste your time applying for things you have no business doing.
Exactly! People are spazzing out and they haven’t even implemented it yet, and if it’s in Blizz’s control then they can alter it or change what needs to be changed where as io is completely seperate. How can something that isn’t even released be toxic already? The more I think about it, seems like Icypickles is prejudging the whole system and that somewhat makes him a bully.
