Raider.io now blizzard supports bullying

If io and Blizzard’s system didn’t exist, players like myself would be able to apply to mid-high keys, knowing damn well I don’t fully understand which spells to interrupt, or each and every boss mechanic. I would likely drag down the group by dying to things I should know to avoid, but because there’s no system to let the raid lead know i’m inexperienced, he/she would just have to risk their key when they invite me.

I know I’m probably good enough to do 7-12 if I bothered to learn each dungeon, but I’m comfortable just playing casually, since I spend most of my free time playing Rocket League and not that interested in pushing mythics.

I have a guild. If I really wanted to do high keys, I could start running low to mid with them until I build my io score. It’s not hard to do.

What I don’t understand is why people who express this view haven’t simply stopped running m+? They’re clearly having issues with the game mode. Stop abusing yourself with it. It isn’t for you. And that’s ok. It wasn’t for me either. I haven’t done m+ since the beginning of BFA once I realised how much of a dumpster fire of a game mode it is.

So PvP ranking is good and PvE ranking is bad?

You have your opinion I have mine

I’ve done my best to try to convince people to just not do content

Extrapolating doesn’t help your case at all. And whenever I see this type of thread I can only say…:

If IO was that much a problem, it wouldn’t be one. Those millions would vastly outnumber the IO users in the group finder.

The intention of it isn’t to exclude players, it’s to help key holders not waste keys. You can still run your own and avoid any io exclusion.

just a friendly reminder that someone choosing not to invite you to their group is not bullying

None of this would be an issue if we didn’t have all these damn cross-server functionalities!! Back in my day you played with the people on your server and if you were bad, people learned…and if you were good on any toon you played…people learned and we learned to exclude players the good ol’ fashioned way without needing an addon to help us do it!

Theres two sides to every story. The addon was created BECAUSE there were so many players whose experience was not good because of players like you. I know that if the addon didn’t exist, my experience would be WAY worse than it is.

Participation in progression and group events has been gated by something

You have IO, before that you had ilvl, gear scores, achievements and early on, actual gear checks by someone you didn’t even know.

If you were bad enough or had a bad attitude prior to cross realm being a thing, you could actually get blacklisted by guilds, players and groups.

Stop expecting to be invited to everything

Its not toxic, it’s people making sure you can cut it.

The Blizzard version will allow people with similar scores to find each other and group up.

The only people worrying about it are those that want to be carried.

Yes, Raider(.)io is popular because it helps group leaders quickly judge if a stranger is qualified or not. Is it perfect? No, but if you use it you will have a higher rate of success than if you don’t because of the sheer amount of choosy beggars looking to get free carries

That’s called A-B testing!

Me neither, It just sucks… but at least with those “extra” score points we probably will do it, trust me hahah

Hahaha no they need to bring a better affix that is fun but hard at same time tyrannical isn’t that. People avoid it and feed weeks exist for a reason. Levelling alt weeks=tyrannical

ITT guy who applied to a +15 with 200 io and got declined because the leader would prefer someone who actually knows how to play the game.

Someone do some digging for the Gearscore threads. This is the same song and it’s my favourite.

EDIT: Looks like the OP is a Strawman
