The guild finder tool worked perfectly for me when I came back. IMO they did a great job with it.
And you were never able to do that before. If iLevel worked as well as an indicator as it did in early legion we’d probably still mostly rely on that.
But there are other ways to get gear, so it doesn’t. If it were deleted right now, people would just go look up armory pages manually.

I offered as well with my hunter I could feed gear I can trade to them - but Stormbreaker told me they basically refused the offer…but I am willing to help I too have a healer I could do either one.

Humans are efficient beings. An add-on is more efficient than whatever old method was utilised. It’s that simple.

Honestly if that is how you evaluate items in game then you are setting yourself to fail. There are plenty of lower ilevel items and “blues” that have a better performance rating due to there stats or effect. Anyone who does not understand that isn’t going do worth a crap at any level. That is like 101.

You pretty much cut off the rest of Marikit’s post stating that the 390 trinket was a very good indication of a boost…has nothing to do with how they evaluate anything. Its a good piece of advice.

Your point is that you keep saying all these things that raider.io doesn’t do. All it is used for om M+ is to like to their armory. That.is.it. All it does is save people the time to go and armory them. That.is.it. It is not some big boogyman add-on that judges the worthy and the unworthy. It is just showing what is already available on your armor and then putting it in a score format.

I doubt blizz will ever get rid of IO / IO like things. As for what to do right now - nothing. Pre-patch will be out soonish and will likely have all the catch up gear you could want. Corruptions and cloak upgrades will be removed / obsolete.
Take a break from WoW, or work the AH and get some gold going into the expansion. Trust me, you don’t want to put in all that work only for it to be for nothing in a few weeks.
Pretty much sums up the entire thread…not reflecting on your back and forth with Hamstar, but you really cannot have a productive discussion if ppl(OP and others with their mindset) refuse to even try to see or understand.
There have been MANY attempts in this thread, but in the end, it’s all boiled down to ppl not understanding a tool, blaming it for the behavior of certain players…and if it isn’t RIO, I will 99.9999997% promise you there will be something else taking it’s place, and it will be worse.
