not really. It only hurts people who wants to cut the line. Rather than progress step by step. Also there is again the option to push your own key. And there’s no line for that

Yep… In DF season 1 im at 1500io now and notice i inv some 700 score guy and he does better than a 1200+
It’s really hard to judge. I just want to use the addon to track a few things but sometimes i fall into a hole of looking at someones runs and going “nah hes garbage” then inv someone “better” by score or number of runs and he bricks the key.
Making your own keys still fall under trusting in other people even if they are friends or guild mates… I’ve had friendships get in hot water over a mistake in a key. Same in raids.
We’re all dealing with people and that will never change. No addon should judge a person’s ability.
Is this a world record necro?

Raider io im afraid is here to stay. Its even been implemeted into wows system under mythic +.

Why is everyone mad at a necro? Its better than creating a new post when it’s basically all right here in the comments to read. I was just in bed on forum and I searched up “raider io is sh**” and this popped up lol
Do every dungeon at +2 both weeks. This will give you far more score needed to do +6 for all dungeons both weeks. Then you will have enough score for 10s.
lol Blizz actually encourages necros by giving you thread suggestions when you make a post.
I’m fine on score. Almost 1600. Just saying people are getting more and more strict even at 10’s for score and class/spec combos… Only reason I get accepted as a tank is I am prot war… lol
and ye necro’ing a post is almost better than pulling up a new one and flooding the same subject… Just find a mega thread of comments from a similar post title and profit.
Make your own group and host your own key. Watch people apply.
And go ahead, let the people with <400 IO apply. Why not take them over the 1500+ folks?
Give that few goes and you’ll see why no one lets you in their key.
No ones obligated to invite you to their group, and I don’t need Raider IO to go look at your progression / experience levels

Gonna let you in on a not so secret secret. Without raider IO people will just gatekeep using different metrics. Gear checks, linking achievements, etc. all were common before. You still wouldn’t be getting into groups, and instead you’d be raging on the forums about people being able to inspect you or some dumb nonsense.

Age tends to have nothing to do with permission to enter a car. High Raider IO score is widely regarded as a good reason to let people into a key. Additionally, the reason for entry into the car is unknown. The reason for entering a key is successful completion, gear rewards, and higher score. Finally, successful car experience does not increase your age, like dungeons increase your raider IO score.
You are comparing an irrelevant metric to an explicitly relevant one and assuming that the property of willingness to unite is inherited.
A better analogy might be, “Do you get mad at a 20 year old for refusing to hire you for a job when you’re 45?” But there are faults with this analogy as well. However, much like raider IO score, high age doesn’t mean you know what you’re doing. Carries exist.

funny i always thought the scoring system for mythic was the dumbest and most toxic thing for mythic and instead of blizzard banning it and moving away from it they add there own stupid system instead and to no surprise mythic + continues to be a trash toxic end game system gated to majority of players.
I actually never understood the issue with Necro. If the post is still relevant, why is it bad to revive the thread? Genuinely asking.
If blizz did ban it, get rid of it etc… something else would simply fill its place. The genie is out of the bottle, I don’t see how you put that genie back in.
So I am going to give you the general advice of join a guild, start your own groups/raids etc… WoW players are going to WoW- what are you going to do.
