Raid vs Mythic+ loot tables

Non-raiders should also factor in the Great Vault, as completing a Mythic Keystone +15 will award a choice of up to three item-level 226 pieces from the Great Vault.

No, it does not. You’re saying -one- Mythic +15 awards a choice of up to three ilvl 226 items. We need to complete ten Mythic +15s for this to be available. If a single +15 takes 30 minutes, you’re asking people to devote five hours of their lives each week for that choice. And most people will take closer to ten hours if they want to push that hard.

All pvp gear has vers and vers dmg and healing is boosted by 20% when wearing 2 pvp trinkets in pvp, it’s basically pvp at this point, you’re just not getting resil.

The wording here is weird.

It makes it sound like gear is still being rewarded for rating and not from a vendor/upgraded. What do you mean 213 for Challenger-level PvP? I thought all of the PVP gear came from a vendor.

Is the gear sold from the vendor rating locked?

Also, why does this make it sound like PVP gear won’t be ideal for PVP… Again… I’ve seen the math on how long it will take to get PVP gear and upgrade the sets. Putting this effort into PVP gear like making it so every piece has Versatility and the trinkets have set bonuses just seems like it is going to be a waste if we grind this 213 gear and have it replaced quickly and easily by PVE gear.

Y’all’s devs don’t know how to make a system good anymore. It’s always about fixing things that aren’t broken and changing for the sake of change. Very frustrating, to be honest.

The opinions of your fans dont matter. So thanks for the info. At least you gave us a heads up.

No, I’m using Shadowland drops.

Don’t forget, this is further compounded by bonus rolls being removed, making targetting a particular drop that much harder, especially in M+, but also in Raiding where you know only get 1 shot at looting a specific boss a week, rather than 2+ (using bonus rolls).

Gear targetting will be harder, M+ will provide much less value, as will PvP.

Can loot still proc tertiary bonuses such as Leech and Avoidance? I quite like stats like those and it would be a shame if they disappeared.

Those stats and sockets still exist.

Good stuff, I 100% agree. This is a good change.

Do they proc or are they on predetermined pieces of gear?

same as they do now, rng.

Okay, thanks for the info.

Which part of the change did you feel was good ? The less loot part ? The part where Mythic+ is relegated to “loot from the vault and nothing else really” ?

In fact, Kaivax didn’t even talk about any kind of change. This has all been on Beta for a while.

The answer to your question is in the text you quoted.

The only disadvantage you would be at is time to gear. The more content you do, the more gear you get. But this has always been the case since Vanilla. Not sure why this is a red flag after 16 years.

The vendor seems to have more variety now but it’s a mixture of Vers / (Crit, Haste or Mastery). While it’s better to have options the problem comes with if Vers isn’t superior than just getting a PvE set.

We’ll have to see how that pairs up against PvE gear. Still don’t 100% understand Vers and have been told repeatedly that it’s one of the most boring stats in the game.

The part where we don’t have to vendor 50 trash epics a week, because they didnt titanforge or tertiary?

Loot being scarce and of generally higher quality is a fantastic change to the game.

This seems to imply that how it’s currently on beta that max M+ gear ilvl being 3 ilvls lower than heroic gear is unintended.

Blizzard: Something is broken…ok lets fix it by breaking something next to it that’s not broken this way it seems far less broken! It’s Brilliant!

What was wrong with vendoring nonupgrades ?

What higher quality ? You’re not getting higher quality loot here. You’re getting less of the same loot you had in BfA.

Not sure what PvP game you’ve been playing but it certainly hasn’t been that way for 16 years straight. There was a time where you could only do PvP and never have to even glance at PvE.

No, he’s talking about the Vault loot, not the end of dungeon box.
