Raid Tuning Coming July 5

Considering it took your guild almost 5 weeks to down Jailer with all but it’s most recent round of nerfs, I highly doubt you could have cleared the whole raid in one week without the gear you have now at this point even with the additional round of Jailer nerfs after you killed it.

The most recent nerfs to Jailer was an absolute gutting of a boss, and the nerfs coming Wednesday clown the boss to heroic mode.

If we had to reprog this tier with the bosses in their current form, yes it would have quite easily been a 1 week clear. This raid has been nerfed to oblivion (correctly).

These nerfs should have been in as soon as gorse hof closed.

The nerfs are ultra good, but still are too near to the end of tier, should add a month or at least 2 weeks before close the aotc/ce think, this tier we havnt a scalate power for do more than at start (like others tiers), and is by far the shortest tier since i play.

If the plan is shorter tiers, need hot fix more soon and comunicate the end tier months before it finish for the guilds with no all day time or night, can schedule more hours with time ahead, and not at last.

That’s not possible, only content drought patches last that long. Wow typically gets 4 patches in 2 years with 4 separate raid tiers. If this was true, wow expacs would be near 4 years long.

ICC, Dragonsoul, SoO, HFC, Nyalotha were all that long.

Yeah, as said, the drought patches. The end patch is always drought patch that is longer while they get the next experience topped off and released.

That was my point, the slowest guilds normally only get CE on the final patch.

Same, heroic raids are pretty rough this expansion, im not sure why blizzard suddenly decided heroic needed to be painfully difficult and have a small margin for error. That’s what mythic is for.

If that is the case can they clown Heroic jailer down to normal then :laughing:

You’d be shocked at how difficult 10 man heroic raiding is compaured to say 18+ people. One person misses a mechanic and might as well call it a wipe. With 18+ you can almost skip the same mechanic :frowning:

Scaling with the difficulty just making it worse.

Considering you didn’t even get heroic Andy down the first week, I find it hard to believe that with 1 leggo, 17 less ilvls, and a massive amount of tier power missing and a ton of mythic raid trinkets missing that you would have cleared mythic in 1 week. I’m not saying your guild is bad, you’re obviously good. You don’t have to double down on a boast that you cannot clearly prove and the historical data is not inclined to make believable. Would it have been a 1 week tier for ECHO or Liquid in it’s current state quite possibly, but your team isn’t them. Your team is world 200th and that’s still damn amazing.

lol you are comparing launch bosses with a comparison on a state of the bosses now, are you okay?

Heroic Anduin week 1 was harder than 10 bosses in the mythic raid currently, the vast majority of 3 night guilds overtimed to kill it - We did not, we never overtime. In fact I’d go as far to say Heroic Anduin week 1 was harder than every single boss in the mythic raid currently after nerfs.

We are going to be killing jailer tomorrow with two sales, quite literally 18 manning the boss.

They could take a leaf out of GW2’s play book for something like that. I’ve played that and also participated in the WvWvW encounters with my guild. Typically, I used to have a different set of gear for WvWvW because I would concentrate sigils and other methods of buffers on mine for survival and the ability to get out of stuns. Building my gear towards what I would encounter in WvWvW was way different than what I did for my open world pve encounters. After all, most of my open world encounters were against AI mobs not other players.

The weapons themselves had different talents which were the same no matter who picked up the weapon, but there was a host of choices for stats. Most of the time I did not worry too much because it was not the same as true one-on-one like in a solo or team contest. These were separate from the WvWvW.

So in essence, Bliz could follow a similar line with skill/talent choices that do not cross over between pvp and pve. Like currently there are some talents offered in the pvp side of my builds that are not available to me for pve, exactly.

However, since I am allergic to pvp as a rule, when the guild as a whole decided to engage in a fun food-fight (as it were), called a zerg, it was expected we would choose a totally different set of skills, buffers and sigils based upon what we were planning to do. We had one night a week when our WvWvW leaders would take anyone through to get experience and then we would run 5-man squads.

As one of our main suggestions for the group was as follows:
Take supportive traitlines, use elite specs, max your stats, take dura runes and damage reduction foods. Dont use 3 stat gear. Dont use weapons that have bad skills against/with groups. Dont use signets that dont have stronger active effect than other skills have.

As I am definitely not well versed in pvp, I usually stuck closely to the leader. Since I ran a Ranger Druid-Boon support with my staff, I still could do some ranged damage and stuns along with the heals I provided the group. That was actually fun.

So the game has to be down longer for a heroic/mythic raid nerf yay.

Week 1 yes, we cleared 7/11H week 1 but Normal Andy took more pulls than Heroic Halondrus. But Andy is a joke now and has been for months. This was also a complete pug too btw.

And have a VERY short season on top of that. Brutal. So many less people will get AOTC now because of them thinking this raid should be NG+7 dark souls level :expressionless:

This is soooo ridiculous lmao. I’ve pug killed 9/10 H. Haven’t even attempted jailer.

Stop nerfing content to make it easier for people who aren’t actually good enough to kill these things. It ruins the accomplishment for everyone. All you are doing is facilitating bad gameplay.

You said it yourself in the post… They are supposed to be CHALLENGING. not a friggen cake walk.

I play maybe 1-2 hours a day and I was able to pretty much clear heroic through pugging. THESE FIGHTS ARE DOABLE. no need to nerf

these jailer nerfs went too far lmao

P3 and P4 don’t even exist and P2 is being intentionally “force skipped” by messing up a mechanic that makes you go into P3 before you’re intended to.

Jailer is legitimately like a 50 pull boss now.

“Cutting edge” lmao. Saw a Blizz dev in a twitch chat say they expected 70 US guilds to kill it this week with the nerfs.

Over 50 killed it just last night.
