Raid or Die is Stupid

You are delusional dude.

Those are official numbers, from Blizzards Armory API, given to World of Wargraphs to graph the things they do.

Not official numbers. Blizzard hasn’t reported numbers for over 6 years now. If you want to believe that then sure wow’s dead. Go on and quit while the rest of us play wow and enjoy it.

If you want a ballpark guess, it’s because they want to incentivize raiding more due to a spike negative in participation this expansion. No I have no numbers on it, but I completely believe participation in raiding decreased in BFA.

Folks should request a higher iLvL reward pass +15s if they want to continue a gear progression outside of a weekly lockout. :woman_shrugging:

Can it decrease more please?

I’d like 10 man mythic. Thanks Blizzard.

If they want Mythic Raiding to be enticing, make so that more specs can actually do the content instead of Flavor of the Month, not nerf the other content.

Maybe they can make more Mega Dungeons that will reward a higher iLvL loot table vs. normie Mythic+ dungeons.

I would be down for that. Mega dungeons are a lot of fun!

Yeah, I only did Mechagon once before taking a long break, but it was fantastic. Wish I had done Karazhan in Legion.

More specs besides fotm can do mythic raiding if you aren’t trying to push CE in the first month or two. Every spec can.

It would be nice if they designed raids less around burst windows and CD management though. I’ve always preferred steady DPS over going ham for a few seconds and then turning into a noodle for a few minutes. lol

It’s not raid or die at all

If you want gear what you do is buy WoW tokens then buy carries

That’s the meta game apparently

If I want to believe reality?

Like what planet do you live on? Blizzards API is in your face everyday, they allow Pulls from Armory with Filters, frequently.

They allow Massive Full Armory Data Exports, not frequently. Thats why World of Wargraphs does the “Global” section at the end of pacthes, as they are only allowed to do it then.

During that time, Blizzards API allows them to pull all data on all 120 characters that have had activity during the pacth (which is what they do). So your saying those are wrong numbers, so what Blizzards armory is wrong? There is millions of 120 characters missing from Blizzards API isnt there?

Or is that not the argument and the argument is instead the R1 numbers? Well lets see, Blizz has the Achievement state it is the top .01% of people rated. So we know because that was given to 267 players, that there was 267k players.

We know from Blizzards API that rated players (or toons with the rated chieve) made up 26% of the playerbase.

This isnt hard dude, its very VERY simple math.

If you want to keep harping on it go ahead. Still not official numbers.

LOL, the numbers CAME FROM Blizzards API. Thats the literal definition of Official numbers, you have SERIOUS issues with being in Denial. Its very sad.

“Blizzard made my have to use a feature to see the numbers, Nope, Nope, those arent real hur dur”

:man_shrugging:

Even after almost two entire decades, it seems Blizzard will never learn.

Personally, I say if it shuts the MyThiC wAiDeRs up, then give +100 ilvl.

99% of the people supporting the changes will ever see a Mythic raid anyways.

I’ll still have my fun in m+, arena and bgs.

At this point, for the health of the game even, I say just let em toot their horns so they can be happy.

Although, what would have made the most sense but would have required some actual work from Blizz would be too make the rewards for Mythic raiding just cosmetic and cooler looking pixels.

All good, was silly me.

While I was talking smack about you not understanding or using the API we are given, I did the same.

I didn’t at stupid reply one use the API to see you are a troll who has never done anything in this game. Silly me, carry on.

I was talking some very casual friends who have played throughout bfa and their biggest gripe with wow is that they don’t feel like it’s rewarding compared to some other mmos. They do their daily chores and don’t really get anything out of it. Not sure exactly how other mmos does it since it’s been a while since I played another mmo.

The only real gear you’re going to get out of wow is through raids and m+. Everything else is just garbage tier in comparison. It really makes you wonder why they don’t just focus 100% development on the raids and m+. Just feels like a waste of development time on half measures imo.

Raid or die (at launch) is the biggest nail in WildStar’s coffin. They tired to pull it out but couldn’t in time. RIP WildStar.

Oh please. Like BFA boomers matter…
