Raid Lockout Question

I’ve seen one post asking this question, but no responses yet. I’m confused on how these raid lockouts work in MoP classic. Are you able to do a 10 man and a 25 man in the same week? I only ask because it would make sense if a guild were to do 25N run and then split off into two groups and try to push 10H. Again, I’m sorry if this has already been answered, but I’m totally lost and finding all different answers from varying resources.

no - 10 and 25 is the same lockout, even more - technically you can do some bosses on 25 and then switch over and kill remaining on 10

Ok. So technically, you can do one raid a week. It doesn’t matter the size of the group or the difficulty, you have to choose one raid to participate in per week?

It’s a boss lockout system.

You can do 2 bosses in 25 man, then 2 in 10 man, then the rest back in 25 man.

Each boss has a lockout.
